Jade's POV

"What time do you want us over?" Andre asks he sits down for lunch, sitting across from me, Cat between us, and Robbie taking the spot beside him.

"I never actually invited any of you over, I hope you know that." I say, taking a bite of my salad, a taste I'm not quite used to anymore because Tori likes her meat, and tends to throw anything for a salad out when I'm not home. And hiding it won't help anything, trust me.

"But Cat said you did?" Robbie says, more as a question, as he eats his sandwich.

"Did she actually say Jade invited us, or just that we were hanging out at Jade's?" Andre asks, clearly knowing the answer already.

"Cat just said we were hanging out. I just assumed Jade invited us." Robbie says shyly.

"You know what happens when you assume, Rob?" Rex, the annoying puppet, asks from Robbie's lap. "Normally, you'd make and ass out of you and me. But here? Just you." He says with a small laugh.

"Do they know about Tori?" Cat asks me in a whisper, making sure the boys don't hear us.

"No, but they will soon, I'm afraid." I say, not knowing how Tori will react to the two of them, three if you count the puppet.

"You like her." Cat says, louder than I hope she intended.

"Jade likes who?" Andre asks, paying attention to what Cat and I are talking about, instead of the argument between Robbie and Rex.

"Nothing, and no, I don't." I say, going from Andre to Cat. "Be there by five. If anyone's even a minute later, they're not coming in. Understood?" I say, standing up and leaving, tossing the rest of my salad in the trash and heading in.

-After School-

"Where are your friends?" Tori asks me as I walk into my house, dropping my bag beside the door.

"They'll be here later. I told them to be here by five, and knowing Cat, she'll be here in a few minutes." I say, accepting the hug Tori gives when I walk in regularly.

Sure enough, three minutes later, there's a rapid knock at the front door, followed by the unmistakable voice of Cat. "Open up open up open up!" Cat says loudly, speaking as rapid as her knocks.

"Hello Cat." I say, opening the door.

"Hi Jadey. Hi Tori." Cat says, hugging both of us as she says her hellos. "No one else here yet?" She asks, looking around.

"You're the only one so far." I say, shifting a bit when Cat hugs Tori, a small smirk on my face when Tori, still not used to Cat being Cat, tries to squirm out of her grip. "Cat, release." I say, prying Cat off of Tori when Tori starts to growl.

"How come she likes when you touch her, but not me?" Cat asks, staring at me when Tori walks over to me.

"She just does." I say, grabbing Tori's hand and guiding her to my living room.

"Why are your parents never here?" Cat asks, looking around. "I never see them."

"Work. Dad's always out of town, he sends money for food, bills, whatever. Same with mom." I answer, shifting to make Tori, who once again uses my lap as a chair, more comfortable.

"Jade, are you gay?" Cat asks as Tori makes herself comfortable.

"Excuse me? Why would you ask me that?" I ask, a small blush on my cheeks.

"Well, you have no problem letting Tori touch you, sit on you, or anything. But when Beck used to touch you, you pushed him away." Cat says, going into her 'Catarina' tone. "When I first saw you push him off at school, I thought it was just you being you. But watching how you are with Tori, maybe it was only because you don't like men." She says, leaning back a bit.
