Y/n has always been best friends with Charlie ever since birth but, then when you're 18 you realize maybe you have feelings for him but dont wanna ruin your friendship. So, what can you do really.
(They are still at the hotel this is after she got home from Madis)
"Hey you're home.", I said going to hug y/n. She flinched, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah yeah im fine dont worry."
I nodded, "Wanna watch a movie?"
"No thanks, I'm really tired."
"Oh wanna cuddle?", I said hopeful.
"No thanks, I'm just gonna take a shower and go to sleep."
"Oh okay.", I said, kinda heart broken. She went to go take a shower then came back and laid in bed. She was turned away from me. "Are you mad at me?", I said.
She rolled over, "No, I'm not you just kinda dealing with something."
"What is it?"
Her eyes widened, "Oh i'm just something with Madi boy drama.", she said.
"Well can we cuddle now?"
"Sure just don't squeeze me too hard. I ate a lot and have a slight stomach ache.", she said laughing. I laughed too and put my arms tightly around her. SHe fell asleep and so did I.
(Time skip to Christmas Eve because i'm lazy)
"Morning!"I said to y/n we were having a Christmas break and decided to have sleepovers every night. (They are back at their parents house for Christmas break)
"Good morning.", she said in her cute morning voice. For some reason ever since Thanksgiving she's been very distant like she was only hanging out with Madi now and the only time I see her is at night and even then she wont let me cuddle her anymore. Even further every weekend her and Madi go out shopping but come home with no bag which (not stereotypical) but is weird for girls and she wont workout with me like we've done that since middle school. I really hope she's not planning on breaking up with me especially since I have some big, big plans for tomorrow.
"Hello earth to Charlie.", she said, breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Hi sorry."
"It's fine, let's go ice skating."
"That sounds fun.", I said getting up.
"Look it's snowing!", she said looking out the window.
"Let's go play in it!", I said. She nodded and we both got ready. I took her and picked her up, spinning her around. Making her have the biggest smile on her face gosh I love this girl so much.

We then went sledding with our families she refused to for some reason which made everyone suspicious. I decided to just leave it alone and add it to the list of things y/n stopped doing since Thanksgiving.
"Ready to go ice skating?", I asked y/n as I got back into the car.
"Yes, but I can't fall."
"Huh.", I said.
Her eyes widened, something she's been doing a lot lately, "I mean I dont wanna fall."
"I still don't understand.", I said.
"Can you just make sure I don't fall please?"
"Yeah I can do that.", I said. Another thing is she wont eat certain foods and sleeps a whole lot more. When we got there, I bought us skates and we went on the ice. Y/n was gripping onto my arm like her life depended on it. "Are you good?', I said laughing a bit.
She forced a laugh, "Yeah im fine nothing to worry about." She finally loosened her grip and we had fun.

We did some ice skating moves then got cold and decided to call it a night.
"Let's make cookies when we get home!", she said excited as she stretched her seat belt out making sure it didn't touch her stomach.
"Yeah lets do it!", I said. "Does your stomach hurt?"
"No, I'm perfectly fine."
"You've been acting unlike yourself and so weird what's going on."
"Nothing, I'm great, just peachy."
"You've never used that word whats-going-on.", I said pausing in between those words to emphasize.
"No-thing.", she said pausing in between her letters.
"Fine you win but you better tell me soon."
"What am I gonna tell you nothing wrong.", I just rolled my eyes and drove home. When we went to her house and made the cookies it was really fun but she refused to eat any of the raw batter. That didn't shock me, it was just kinda funny how much she cared about not getting salmonella. We changed into our matching Christmas pajamas and watched Christmas movies.
"Alright i'm gonna go to bed.", y/n said standing up from the couch.
"I'm gonna go too.", I said standing up and following her.
"I have to take a shower so see you in a minute.", she said grabbing her clothes.
"Okay bye.", I said going to hug her from behind. She backed away. "If you're insecure about your stomach I promise you're beautiful just the way you are."
She smiled, "Thanks Charlie.", I smiled knowing I made her feel better. She took a shower then came back out and started brushing her hair. "Can I braid it please?", I asked her.
"Yeah sure.", she said, handing me the brush. I loved playing with her hair. It was soft and relaxing. I put it into two French braids. She told me thank you and went to go to sleep. I got in bed beside her. I hugged her hoping she didnt flinch or anything, she didn't. We talked a bit more until she fell asleep. I kissed her and went to sleep myself.
