Wilbur got home after what felt like the longest school day and an even longer teacher conference. For some reason Wilbur thought that seniors didn't have these types of things. Yet there he was, sitting next to his dad, Phil, as his teacher was, as Wilbur put it in the car ride home, "a fucking snitch." Wilbur set his backpack on the couch and propped himself next to it. He can hear Phils frustration even from the tone of his breath. He had not spoken a word to him since they left the school, just the frequent "hmm", and he had really hoped it would stay that way til dinner. But he knew he wouldn't survive that long.

"Dad, I'm-"

"What the hell are you doing?" Phil blurts out, "You're 18 now, Wil, I can't baby you anymore."

"I'm not asking you to."

"Well it fucking looks like it! You're showing up late, skipping school, and now I hear you faked your report card?"

It was pretty easy. His best friend Schlatt had done it multiple times. What would doing it once hurt? And besides, he really needed it. Three Ds and two As. It was a last ditch effort. The only reason it failed was because the teacher saw Schlatt hand Wilbur the report from under their desks. Every time the scenario plays in Wilbur's head he chuckles at the fact it didn't work.

"Oh so this is funny to you?" Phil says.

"No," Wilbur says, deciding not to push it. "It's not. And I'm sorry Phil," This makes Phil chuckle sarcastically.

"Oh, do you think you can pull out the 'Phil card?' Do you know how many times Techno has tried that on me? It's not gonna work." It was normal in Wilbur's family to call his dad "Phil," but only when it was something serious. Apparently his twin brother Dave, who they nicknamed Technoblade or Techno, has used all of the excuses Wilbur could think of to get out of stuff which meant Wilbur was completely screwed.

The room fell silent for a few seconds as Phil walked over to the couch. Wilbur felt like making a run for it but he knew it would make things worse.

"You're grounded, by the way," Phil said calmly. "The only places you're allowed to go to is school and here."

"Wait what? For how long?" Wilbur exclaimed.

"Until I say so. And you have limited computer time. This it it, Wil. No more games. I'm putting my foot down."

"Well what the fuck do I do then?" Wilbur said, raising his voice.

"Well you can start by spending time with your brothers!" Phil said gesturing to the sliding doors that lead to the backyard.

Wilbur got up making the couch move back. Phil gives Wilbur a look telling him to stop testing him, and Wilbur does so. The last time he got in trouble this bad was when he took Technos car to a party and was grounded for the weekend. He walked over to the doors not making eye contact with Phil once. Swears were going through his brain at miles an hour. All he could do now is hope there's nothing going on that week. Or the next. Hell, maybe for the next month. As Wilbur opened the doors he could already see his brothers grin from the corner of his vision.

Techno and Wilbur look so different that you'd never guess they were twins. When they were kids they looked identical, both had brown eyes, light brown hair, and glasses. But Techno had changed his appearance so much that he now looks straight out of a fairytale. He dyes his hair pink every month and has refused to have it shorter than shoulder length. He's also more muscle-y than Wilbur since he does fencing. Although Wilbur hasn't changed his appearance that much other than wearing contacts. Even though they're the same age, Techno was born two minutes earlier, making him the older brother type between them. Techno was sitting at the patio reading a book when Wilbur came outside, giving him the perfect opportunity to "comfort" his brother.

"So how did it go?" Techno says trying to hold laughter in.

"How do you think it went, dickhead?" Wilbur scowls back at him. This makes Techno burst into laughter.

"Are you kidding me, Wil?!" He says talking through his giggles, "Who's idea was it to give you the fake in the middle of a test?! And your excuse was that it was for a play?! I mean, holy shit!"

Wilbur goes red with rage at Technos comments. When Techno turns back to face the table Wilbur yanks at his bun making it become loose.

"Hey, what the hell?" Techno exclaims.

"You're not helping," Wilbur says.

Suddenly he hears a frustrated grunt from the backyard. He looks up to see his little brother Tommy, age 6 and turning 7 in two weeks. Wilbur hadn't noticed him when he first came outside, which is shocking since Tommy always likes to have his presence known. Tommy looked a lot more like Phil than the others, with his blue eyes and blonde hair. He was in the middle of the yard sitting on the grass with a toy laying upside down and his arms crossed tearing up. Techno nudges Wilbur gesturing to go help him. He rolls his eyes and decides he's got nothing better to do. He walks over to Tommy and squats down to get on his level.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Wilbur asks.

"I'm bored, that's what's wrong!" Tommy pouts, "I got this new toy and Tubbo isn't even home!" Tubbo is Tommy's best friend from next door who always comes over to play. Wilbur does remember their neighbors car not being there when they parked.

Wilbur picks up the toy off the ground and examines it. It seems to be a grey toy van that makes car sounds when you push on the hood. He remembers Tommy getting it when they went to the dollar store the day before. He looks to the other junk surrounding Tommy. Cardboard, markers, and other toys all covered in dirt were brought out by Tommy to try and cure his boredom.

Suddenly Tommys eyes light up.

"Can you play with me Wil? I mean, you're grounded, so there's nothing else for you to do!" Tommy says not knowing how harsh he sounded.

Any other day Wilbur would have laughed and walked away to go play Minecraft or something, but today was different. Tommy was right, there was nothing else. It had been years since Wilbur actually played with Tommy, and Techno was definitely out of the question cause he would want to train with him. Wilbur sighed and finally sat himself in the dirt across from Tommy.

"Alright then, let's play."
