Cheers!

As soon as Techno and Wilbur made it home Wilbur made a B-line for his room. Just as he was about to touch the door handle, he heard snapping coming from the kitchen.

"I hope you're going in there work on algebra, mate! Cause I saw you got something due in there!"

Shit. Of course he was in his google classroom. Wilbur groaned and turned around saluting with a fake smile.

"aye aye, captain Phil! What would I do without you!" Wilbur said in a high pitched voice. He grabbed his doorknob falling into his room dramatically making Phil scoff.

Wilbur grabbed his homework out of his backpack and began to work on it. If there was one subject Wilbur could drop with no consequences, It'd be algebra. He hated it with a burning passion. Yet it was the one class he had consistent homework in. He wished he instead got homework for a subject he actually liked, like geography. He was pretty good at geography, it was the only class that had an A. He was fascinated with foreign countries, maps, and flags. Flags. The flag that fell at Wilburs feet. Black with an orange semi circle on the left with a small x inside. Its corners were burned. He realized that warm feeling he felt wasn't a safe feeling. It was a burning sensation, crawling into his skin, slowly melting him.

Wilbur threw his pencil down backing up from his desk. He was breathing like he just ran a mile. It seemed like he was spacing out while he was working and he had already finished. He glanced at his clock that he could barely tell time on. Four o'clock. Tommy should be back from after school daycare now. Maybe to get his mind off of that dream he could entertain Tommy with a game. Wilbur picked up the worksheet and dashed out of his room, hitting the sheet on the kitchen counter.

"Thank you! See that wasn't hard!" Phil yelled out after him. But Wilbur wasn't listening. He already had his hand on the sliding door to find Tommy. But it turned out he was too late. IT was already there.

Their next door neighbor, Tubbo (at least, that's what Tommy called him. He's real name is toby.) Tubbo is what you think of when you think of the neighbors kid's little brother. Cute, but just like his brother. Tubbo is one year older than Tommy and goes to a private school. Which means the only time they can hang out is during the afternoon. Tommy and Tubbo met about three years ago, when Phil had brought Tommy over to greet the new neighbors. Apparently Phil didn't like them that much cause when they got home acted like a mom on dance moms. But Tommy and Tubbo became inseparable since the moment they locked eyes and would play with each other through the chain link fence. And ever since Tubbo learned to how to climb the fence, he would be over almost everyday. Right then, Tommy and Tubbo were sitting near the slide with Tommy showing Tubbo his new toys with Tubbo's mouth wide open.

Shit. Wilbur knew should have known that Tommy would switch right back to Tubbo when he got to boring. Well it's not like he cared. He'll just find something else to do. He sighed as he slowly turned around to go back inside.

"Wilbur! Dad said we would have to wait for you to play until your work is done. So, are you done? We're getting bored."

This caused Wilbur's face light up with a faint smile. He turned back around to see Tubbo patting the ground next to him, signaling Wilbur to sit. Reluctantly Wilbur complied. Its not that Wilbur doesn't like Tubbo, it's just that Tubbo reminds him of himself when he was younger. And Wilbur always thought that he was a cringey kid.
