I'm sorry what did you say. I asked as my heart raced. This had to be a freaking joke right now. This could not be seriously be  happening. You are who I repeated again looking frantically at the paramedics. I am Luke's girlfriend. Who is this and where is Luke? Asked the voice on the other end of the phone. O I'm sorry you must be mistaken you're speaking to his girlfriend I said. Maybe if I said it out loud the girl would say it was a prank. YOUR HIS WHAT! she screamed I've been with him the past five months the fuck! Math suddenly going off in my head 5 months we'd been dating for 8 months. Here I am trying to save his life and he was here cheating on me the whole time. I shared myself with a fucking liar. Here I am again looking stupid contemplating all the things that went wrong. The phone dropped out of my hand as my body lost all feeling.

Ma'am! Ma'am! Said paramedics as they grabbed me as I almost fainted. Are you okay? I suddenly caught my breath. Yes! Yes I said clearing my throat. I'm fine everything is fine. Okay did you find the mothers number. Ummmm no give me one second let me try this other number. I saw another Ma Dukes only with a different pink heart. I had never even noticed before that the hearts were different. I just knew when I was over there I'd always pop up with a pink heart so I never took the time to really analyze whether or not it was the same heart.

The phone rang. This time a familiar Voice answered. I knew it was her automatically. Ummm hello this is_____. Is Luke allergic to anything I asked Frantically ? No sweetheart why is something wrong she asked sounding panicked. I took my ear from the phone. no sir she said he's not allergic to anything. I placed the phone back on my ear. Hey don't be alarmed but meet us at Mercy hospital Luke passed out but the paramedics says he's fine and breathing well. I handed the phone to them no longer wanting to talk anymore. They explained everything to her and hung up.

He probably would've had them stop the ambulance and let him off like I was NOTHING.

I buried my face in my hands and cried. The paramedics tried their best to soothe me.
Telling me he'd be okey. Little did they know that nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING would ever be okay after this. When we finally pulled into the hospital they rushed him inside. What do we got here said nurses who ran over. Possible heart attack, patient is 23 years old. This is his girlfriend.
Please just help him okay! I pleaded. We will do everything we can they said pushing the gurney to the back.

Like clock work Luke's mother walked in. Heyy _____ what happened. I just told her the truth.
She knew her son was an adult and sexually active so there was no need lie. Well your son and I were being Intimate and he just started seizing up. I was scared because I've never seen anyone do that before. He wasn't breathing so I called 911 and I began performing cpr. I was able to get him breathing again when the paramedics came.

His mom looked at me. She sat next to me and grabbed my hand I'm so sorry _____. She said as she began to cry. I just panicked I didn't mean it. You'll understand one day when you have kids of your own. I'm his mother and protector and that's all I know how to do. She hugged me. I'm sorry about what he did to you as well I didn't raise him that way. Thank you for saving my baby. I hope and pray that you can forgive him.
