Putting the finishing touches on your dark lipstick, you fluff your hair a few times before sighing and putting away your stuff, snapping your locker shut. You make your way out of the locker room, straightening out the short hem of your dress, heels echoing through the halls. Voight is sending you undercover at a club to try and get a lead on the supplier of a new deadly party drug making its way through Chicago. Unlucky for you, Kim is out of town on a personal matter, meaning you have to be the 'hot girl' bait, with the guys serving as back up. While Voight, Antonio, and Mouse man surveillance from the van outside, Kevin will be at the door secretly copying everyone's ID. Your partner, Adam, will be on the lookout at the bar with your boyfriend in case anything goes wrong. Well, your secret boyfriend.

You and Jay have been seeing each other for a few months now. It started as just sex, having fallen into bed together after a tough case and one too many drinks. Lately, though, it's become something more, where you invite him over not just for sex. Where you find yourself falling asleep in his arms and waking up from the sun shining against your face. It was nice. However, the problem is that Jay wants to make it official and go out in public together, not understanding why you'd rather keep it private. As a man, he just doesn't get that it's different for you. You are one of only two women in the most elite unit of the CPD, an officer sleeping with a detective in said unit. People will talk, and you don't want to deal with it, even if Voight has made it clear that he doesn't care about in-house relationships as long as they don't affect the job.

Stepping into the garage where everyone else is getting ready, you glance up when you hear a wolf whistle. Cocking a hip, you roll your eyes at Adam's cheeky grin and arch a brow, "You done?"

"I'm just saying, Y/N, damn," Adam jokes, looking you up and down. Your relationship with him has always been flirty but deep down, you know he's harmless and still head over heels for Burgess. Another point of contention within your relationship with Jay, though. Part of you thinks that he wants to go public just to shove it in Adam's face. Well, most of you, actually. The way Jay gets when Adam is a little too flirty, a little too touchy-feely at Molly's... He is anything by subtle.

"Alright," you chuckle, "keep it in your pants, Ruz." Shaking your head, you move over to the weapons table where Jay is loading his gun, consciously avoiding looking up at you. You notice how studiously he focuses on his weapon, how tense his posture is. Glancing over your shoulder to make sure no one is paying attention, you lower your voice, "Hey. You good?"

"Yup," Jay answers quickly, his voice clipped as he refuses to meet your eyes.

You narrow your own at him, fishing for a reaction, "How do I look?"
