I walk into a small Mexican airport in Guadalajara and go to the ticket stand.

"How can I help you?" Said the worker with a thick Spanish accent.

" One ticket to New York, One way, First class, Please." I said as i handed him a wad of Mexican pesos.

The worker nodded and gave him his ticket

"Gate 16c, it will be leaving in 30 minutes." He said in a polite tone.

Once I got to the gate I saw that it was starting to board the passengers ,and Igot in line to board the plane.

Once the plane landed in New York I walked out and I saw a sleek black '68 Malibu waiting for me in the parking lot with the keys in the glove compartment. As he pulls out of the airport parking lot I wonders where I'm gonna go and decides to go to the Williamsburg bridge to see the river and think of what to do next.

Once I got to the bridge I pulls up to a parking space near the bridge and get out, and I walk onto the bridge and stare into the river, I noticed that half the bridge was recently repaired. As I stands on the bridge looking out to the river,I realizes that a small group of teens are fighting a hellhound the size of a hummer, as I watched them fight I saw that it pounced and hurt one of the fighters.

"Eh... Might as well save their asses." I mumble as I watched and then I jumps off the side of the bridge and lands in the water and walk out and sees that the group is just gawking at him and the Hellhound growls at him. I smile and attack the Hellhound and as I run I jump and lands on its back and calmly pulls out my small dagger and stabs it into the Hellhound's spine and Watch as the beast froze in shock and slowly turned into a giant ice sculpture and then I pull out the dagger and jumps off as it starts shattering.

As I land on the ground, I walt to the small group of teens and notices that the one that got pounced on had a deep gash on their shoulder and was not doing so well. As I walk up to the wounded person, the other two fighters blocked my path to make him stay away, but he ignores them and keeps on walking, as I get closer I sees that the one that looked like the leader lift up his sword and puts it to my throat.

"Stay away." He said with a hint of fear in his voice.
"Make me." I answered coldly.

The soldier pulls of his helmet revealing that he was only fourteen at the oldest. Revealing his short black hair in a small Mohawk and his dark brown eyes.
"Stay back" he said with a stern glare.
I just chuckled and in an instant grabs the kid by the top of his breastplate and throws him to the side like a rag doll. As soon as his comrades see what happened they stepped aside revealing the wounded soldier that is leaning against the tree.
As I walks up to the soldier, I see that the soldier removes her helmet showing that she was around the age of twelve and was gonna pass out from the pain. I go over to her and I stick my hand in my back pocket pulling out a small flask of liquid.
"Drink." I commands her as I pull it up to her lips and she quickly obeys without saying a word. Once she finishes drinking the nectar, I take off her breastplate and starts to look at the wound.
"Any of you have a first aid kit?" I ask without turning around.
The leader takes a moment and said with an hint of regret "No, we didn't think we would need it."
I turn around and looks at him as if he severely messed up, which of course he did.
"Follow me." I said and started to walk towards the bridge and up the stairs.
Once they got up to the bridge they followed me to a small parking lot and up to what they guessed was his car. As they stood there they watch as I pop the trunk open and I pull out a first aid kit, and I tell the girl to get closer, they all get closer and while I wrap her shoulder with gauze they see that I have a stack of deadly weapons inside the trunk.
"Whoa!" said the leader as he stared at the trunk.
"What? You never seen this many weapons belong to one guy?" I said with a smirk.
"What the hell were you guys doing fighting that hellhound in the first place?" I asked.
"It killed our friends, so we were asked to hunt it down and kill it." Said the girl who got hurt.
"Now that it's dead, we gotta head back to camp." Said the leader as he stood up from sitting on the floor.
"And because you saved us, you have to come with us so that we can get a bit of credit for bringing a free loader as a new recruit."
"How do you plan on getting there?"
"We have our pegasi."
"I don't do that kind of air travel."
"Why?"
"Personal reasons"
"Do you have any better ideas?"
"Your looking at one" Articuno said as jabbed a thumb at the black Malibu.

Once they all got in the car, I pull out a GPS and hand it to the leader to punch in the coordinates to camp. Once he finishes, it beeps and a male voice said 'estimated time of arrival, two minutes.'
"Um, your GPS is broken."
"No its not." I answered calmly as I pull out of the parking spot and pulls up in front of the side of a building. With a grin on my face, I puts the car in drive and floor it, as the group starts screaming and hanging on for dear life. As soon as they hit the wall they all melted into the shadows and are engulfed in darkness.
Once they realized that they were shadow traveling, they calmed down and sat there quietly waiting, and then they suddenly get momentarily blinded by the light that engulfed them when they got out of the shadow traveling realm they noticed that they where right in front of the camps giant pine tree. The symbol of the camps mystical border.

"You where right. It wasn't wrong after all. Two minutes exactly." Said the groups leader.
I ignored him and looks around with a hint of confusion.
"Camp Half-blood" I said in a mesmerized tone.
"You know this place?" The leader asked.
"Somewhat."
"Follow me, I'll show you around"

As they walked into camp, they saw that the camp was kinda empty for a camp, as they walked towards the giant blue building that looks like a house that belongs in a farm.

As they got to the porch they saw a middle aged man in a wheel chair pull the corner and start working his way towards the group.

"Its great seeing that you made it, Nathan" said the man in the wheel chair.
"Its good to be back, Chiron" said the leader.
"We all made it, and we brought back a new recruit, um... We never got to learn your name, dude" He said looking at the newbie.
"People call me Articuno." Answered the newbie with determination, as he reached out and shook Chiron's hand.
"May I ask, How is it that you survived this long? You seem older than thirteen and that is a small chance indeed that you survived this long without any help." Asked Chiron as he sat there looking at him.
"You learn to fight if you want to survive, and it helps if you have a great teacher." I answered solemnly.
"Ah!"
"But He died Two and a half years ago." Articuno added blatantly as he made a tri-claw mark over his heart.
Chiron's face suddenly darkened as he saw him do that.
"Who was your teacher?"
"I'd rather not say."
Chiron nodded.
"Nathan, can you guys leave us alone for a minute. Please."
"Sure." Nathan said in an awkward tone as the group started walking to what seemed like cabins.
