Christmas/New year's special

3rd person P.O.V.

It was a normal day in the tavern with (Y/n) reading some books Gowther and Merlin gave her. The tavern was closed today but (Y/n) didn't know the reason why. No one for in the tavern with her at the moment. Elizabeth had gone with Diane and King to the market to do some shopping. Gowther had gone to the library to get some more books since he had finished the ones (Y/n) had given him. Merlin was in her laboratory doing some experiments like she always does, while Escanor was out and about doing his own things. Ban was passed out cold from the drinking he had done last night. As for Meliodas he was in the storage room looking around for something with the help of Hawk. As the (h/c)ette flipped to the last page of her book a large box was dropped on the table in front of her but the girl didn't even flinch. She simply looked up from her book and asked with emotionless eyes.

"Do you require help regarding this box?"  

Meliodas gave her a bright smile before answering, "Yup! I need some help with decorating the place! Since everyone is out today I am counting on you to help me! And I also should get Ban to go get a tree. "

The girl was now confused with his words. She blinked a couple of times before speaking. "Decorating? Tree? I do not understand why you require help with decorating. What occasion is there that decorating and a tree are needed."

"Oh? You don't know? It's Christmas in a few days!!" Meliodas told the girl with shining green eyes. Said girl just stared at him for a little while before finally saying.

"I have no information under the title Christmas. Could you elaborate on the meaning so that I can save it in my files?"

Meliodas wasn't surprised that the girl had no clue what the holiday was. So with a small chuckle and shake of his head, he looked at the emotionless girl's eyes.

"Well, it's a holiday during the winter where people get together and celebrate with food and giving gifts to each other. They also decorate the place to have a festive atmosphere." In truth, Meliodas enjoyed teaching the girl new things about the world and improving her social skills. It was like teaching a child how to walk for the first time and with (Y/n) being like his little sister it made even more sense. There was a small glimmer in her (e/c) eyes.

"Data saved under the file name 'Christmas'." Meliodas smiled at her weird way of saying things. He was used to it by now and quite enjoyed it. 

"Soooo let's start decorating this place! Yay!!!" cheered Meliodas.

"Wey." said (Y/n) with no emotion and a deadpan face. She was trying to show emotion and the same excitement as the blond but it didn't quite work out. Even though Meliodas knew she was trying. And with that, they started decorating. While in the middle of decorating (Y/n) looked at a ribbon Hawk had just put and said.

"The ribbon is 3.48 degrees off. Turn it 3.48 degrees to the right."

"Huh? What do you mean? They don't have to be the same angle."

"But wouldn't a well-decorated environment guarantee a more festive atmosphere therefore a successful celebration?"

Meliodas heard that and walked over to the duo. He wrapped the garland around her neck and told her while spinning her around.

" Loosen up a bit! It's all about having fun, nothing has to be perfect as long as you like it!"

The girl was feeling quite dizzy from all the spinning.

"OI BAN GET YOUR *SS UP! WE NEED ATREE!!" Meliodas called the white-haired man that was starting to wake up.  

"Huh? What is all this noise about captain~?" Ban asked yawning.
