Chapter 8 - Project

i literally have no idea what to do :D

Naegis POV:

"mm.." i muttred out, i felt a wam sensation on my cheek as i slowly raised my eyelids.. i had school today didnt i? i thought to myself, sitting up stretching before i looked down to see what i was laying on, i had apparently fell asleep on togami.. wait what happened last night? oh thats right, we were in the library... my thoughts trailed off about what happened last night before i redirected my attention back to the taller sleeping boy infront of me. he was still fast asleep, i glanced over at the digital alarm clock on the wooden nightstand placed beside the dorm bed. it was 7:02 in the morning.. i should probably wake byakuya up. i gently placed my hands on his torso and slowly shook him in attempt to wake the sleeping blond, "byakuyaaaa... we have school todayyyyy..." i said, stretching out my last words. he didnt move an inch, "byakuyaaa... wake upp.." i said once again, nothing happened. i pouted before thinking of what action i should take next, i leaned over his face and started to plant small kisses all over his soft sleeping face, he scrunched his nose before raising his hand in a 'shooing' motion. i sighed "byakuya come onn.." "ngh.. let me sleep.." he tiredly and quietly said "byakuyaaaa- kuyaaaa- babeee- ughhhhh-" i said the last word in defeat before flopping fowards onto his chest, i felt him shift around a bit before raising up "ngh.. makoto..?" i sat back up looking at him, his blond silky hair was messy from turning in bed, his eyelids were low as under his eyes were dark circles. "we have school todayyy" he sighed rubbing his eyes before leaning over to the nightstand grabbing his thin white glasses and slipping them on his face, i looked around byakuyas room for a little bit while he adjusted to waking up, cause surprisingly unlike me byakuya wasn't a morning person. my eyes caught a picture on a small billbored infront of the desk everyone was provided with. the picture was the photo me and byakuya had taken together the first time we hung out, i let out a small gasp before turning to the now more awake byakuya "kuya! you actually kept the picture of me and you awee!" i exlaimed with a smile. he turned to me with a slightly confused expression "of course i did, just cause im a bitch doensnt mean im gonna throw away a picture of me and my boyfriend." he calmly stated before leaning towards me and planting a small kiss on my forehead, then shortly after he got off the bed, i smiled with a slight blush on my face then following what he did. soon after i got ready i was sitting on the bed with my legs crossed facing the plain white bathroom door patiently waiting for byakuya to come out. (haha- come out >v>) he evantually walked out of the small dorm bathroom looking like he usually would on any day, you have to admit its weird seeing byakuya in anything other than a suit, "you ready to go makoto?" i nodded smiling before hopping off the bed almost falling onto him, i caught my balence stepped back awkardly scratching behind my neck "s-sorry ahah!" He sighed, but not angrily though like you'd expect if you weren't close to him(reading that sentence gave me a stroke but you know what I'm trying to say lol)  "it's fine makoto" he then straightened his glasses one more time before leading me out of his dorm room.

We entered the large cafeteria together after walking down the school hallways, I glanced around the room with a tiled floor and painted white brick walls. "You wanna go get the food kuya? I'll find a table for us to sit at." I asked, he answered with a simple nod and made his way to the lunch counter. I once again looked around the room, fortunately I saw a empty table near the back, I smiled slightly and made my way to round table, claiming a spot by sitting in it.
I saw a tall figure in the distance from the corner of my eye, I turned my eyesight fully towards it assuming It was byakuya, he was holding two trays full of breakfast food in each hand. Before I knew it he was placing both of them infront of us, then sitting down on my right. I started to eat my food, "hey togami?" I asked wiping my mouth with a napkin "hm, yea?" "Did I fall asleep in the library last night?" I asked looking up at him, "you did, now that I think of it, why were you so tried that you passed out at nine?" I thought a little bit before answering "I guess it was because how much we did that day haha," i suddenly heard a girl like voice behind me coming closer "hey Naegi!" I turned around to see Asahina jogging towards us "oh good morning Asahina!" I smiled, "hey what happened last night? Why did you two suddenly just leave?" She questioned sitting backwards on my left. "O-oh uh—" Byakuya suddenly cut my off, I assumed it was because he knew I wouldn't be able to come up with a believable excuse "Naegi was simply just tried and I decided to bring him back to the school." He stated "oh okay! Haha I was just wondering, hm.. well, I'm gonna go back to sitting with Sakura, see you guys later!" She said hopping back up and waving goodbye to us "cya later Asahina!" I replied back to the energetic girl skipping away. I turned back to byakuya who's attention was back at his food, I smiled and began eating my food aswell.

Timeskip to classes

I was sitting in my math class listening to the teacher ramble on about math, I quietly sighed of boredom and started to zone out, resting my head on my hand, ignoring what the teacher was saying, until I heard one sentence ", you guys will be having partners on this project and I'm trusting you to pick someone that you can work efficiently with. This project is very important and will be on your grades." I turned my attention back up to the teacher '..shit I wasn't listening to what she was teaching us about..' "okay, you may go pick out your partners now." The teacher said turning back around her bored erasing what was on it, I stayed there thinking about how I'm gonna get this project done if I didn't listen, I felt someone tap my shoulder. I looked behind me to see byakuya standing behind me with one of his hands on the back of my chair "I'm assuming we're going to be partners? If not that's fine, it's your choice after all." He stated, oh, I guess I never thought about who I want my partner to be, I nodded smiling "great, now come, we should get going. I stood up and followed byakuya out of the classroom along with everyone else.

I would make this chapter longer but I have no motivation rn and I wanna get this out so 😗 goodnight good day- goodbye 😌
