Chapter 21:
Coraline felt horrible that she couldn't do anything to save her friends. She had remembered that her mom always said that "There is always a way, even if everyone tells you otherwise." She knew this was the time to use it.
The world shook and it went dead silent. It was silent for a while. Coraline tried to speak but not a sound came from her mouth. She heard millions of screams. Her feet stumbled, and her head felt very heavy, she fell to the floor. It was like she had sunken to the bottom of the ocean and would never come to shore. The screams stopped, but Coraline was lifeless and she didn't wake up.
