"I think today's the day bub" Nick said whilst watching netflix
"First of all, today's the day for what? And second bub? thats the most adorable thing ever i love u so much" I squealed at him
"I love you too and shh you're the most adorable thing ever, anyway I believe today is the day where we finally adopt a puppy, the house is literally ready, we have the time for a puppy and we are very responsible so can we pls get pupper" He practically begged.
"OMG YES WE ARE GOING TO BE PARENTS" I scream so loud, then I remembered we were keeping this a secret from Clay and George and I quickly went quiet hoping they didn't hear.
"I'm going to book a slot at the adoption centre" He looked at me lovingly.
"Okay Bubs" I saw snuggling into his arms.
A few hours had past, me and Nick told the two boys in the house we were going shopping, it wasn't a lie, it's just we're going shopping to get lots of toys, dog food, bed and more. Then we were actually getting a puppy. I have a name list I haven't told Nick about just yet.
We got in the car and drove to the nearest rescue centre, we wanted to adopt a rescue dog to give them a better life. When we arrived we were greeted by a volunteer, who looked really cool, they seemed to be in their early twenties, and honestly I aspire to be them.

"Hey guys, are you here to adopt a rescue?" they greeted us cheerfully
"Yeah, we booked an appointment earlier today" I greeted with the same energy, Nick stood there, I normally take control in social situations as he stands there like an awkward teenage boy. I'm not complaining though, seeing Nick in a social situation just isn't fun. He is somehow worse then me and i swear to god sometimes I can be like a fucking brick wall, I mean I try to be social but it just doesn't seem to work, unless i'm genuinely interested in the person, like with this person they seem genuinely cool and interesting.
"Okay, cool if you would care to follow me down here" They led us down a small corridor into a room with multiple pens. "We have recently been sent this little pups, they were found alone down an alley, I think one of these pups could make a good little friend,"
We walked into the pen, and you know when you suddenly get an attachment to one specific animal even though you only just met and all the others are practically the same, well yeah that seemed to happen with me and one particular puppy.
"What breed are these little dudes?" I ask
"We aren't too sure but we are pretty sure they are atleast somewhat husky" They said cuddling one of the pups.
Nick noticed my adoration for the particular puppy and he nodded at me and came over to meet the puppy I was cuddling. I look at him masking the face the puppy was doing. He looked in my eyes and nodded, this was definitely going to be our puppy. I ask the person if we can adopt the puppy in my arms, and they respond with a yes and leave to receive the paper work to let us adopt the puppy.
"He's perfect" Nick mumbled into the puppys fur. I agree and pull out my phone and show him the list of names I had planned, I had a few male, a few female and a few gender neutral names in the list.

I have a couple favourites from the list and I read them aloud to Nick "My personal favourites are, Frost, rolo, raven and Harper" I say excitedly.

"I like Rolo" Nick hummed whilst grinning like a toddler
"Me too" I match his grin.
"Hello Rolo" I say more excited than I had been in a while.
After we had signed all the paperwork, we took him to the nearest pet friendly shop so he could choose some of his treats and toys, we obviously didnt let him on the ground cause he is still a small puppy, but we let him sniff at the toys he liked.
After getting the supplies, we took him back home, now was the time we had to reveal to Clay and George that we had bought a dog without their permission, eh what's the worse that could happen? I mean they can't exactly take the dog back, that'd just be cruel (on me and the dog) and it's not like they also wouldn't love a beautiful child. You see, a dog is like a child but less shitty.
I know for a fact Gogy loves dogs and Clay would never say no to George cause he's a simp.
We finally arrive back at the house and I make Nick go and tell George and Clay to get their asses down the stairs so we can show them the surprise. Once they had finally gotten out of bed, even though it was literally 4pm we revealed what we had been hiding (we were obviously also filming their reactions)
"OMG WHERE DID YOU GET THIS ADORABLE FLUFF THING" George blurted out, Clay stood their still in shock, he suddenly erupted with the weirdest wheeze shit I ever heard.
"DUDE YOU FUCKING NEED TO STOP HAVING A ASTHMA ATTACK EVERYTIME SOMETHING DURASTIC HAPPENS GOT IT BITCHBOY?" I hyperventilate laugh at him.
"Dream.." George says pouting (now aware of the cameras)
"Yes Georgie?" He says back
"Can we get one?" George said making puppy eyes at Clay
"Okayy" Clay said dragging out the y.
