We waited for Clay to gather his thoughts. He looked more concerned than before, which was very worrying for us. Eventually he opened his mouth to speak
"Well, George was in the shower and I heard a noise, and I wanted to check he was okay, so I went in the bedroom and" He took a deep breath and looked at us with worry in his eyes.
He breathed in and carried on "There was a random man just standing there, we made eye contact as he was grabbing the tv off the wall, then as I went to grab my phone, he whacked me around the head with something heavy."
Oh god. This person knows where we live, and they got away, but I swear when we saw Clay and George the tv was still there? And I hadn't noticed anything had gone missing? That's odd.
"So you got knocked out, and George walked in and found you and fainted at the sight?" I questioned making sure I got the story correct. They both made noises in agreement.
So someone tried to rob our house, found Clay and decided to put everything back and leave? Kinda weird tbh. Clay had to speak to the police to give a report of the man who was in the house, and in case he saw any other evidence that may be important. The police weren't much help though. They just told us to make sure we lock our windows and doors, which we did anyway soooo.
They discharged Clay from the hospital as they had clarified that there was definitely nothing wrong in his brain, which is lucky considering he was whacked around the head and then fell to the floor. We immediately went to pick the dogs up, as on the way to the hospital we decided to drop them off at Clays mums house as she lived quite close.
When we arrived at Clays mums house we actually had time to speak to her as this time we weren't rushing to the hospital, she told us to keep her updated on Clays condition as she couldn't leave work to see him. Seeing as he was better now we decide to go visit her and just have a cup of tea or some shit.
when we arrived at the door, we were greeted by Clays mum embracing each of us, and we watched as Clay was suffocated by his mother, it was understandable, seeing as her son just got out the hospital. She immediately invited us inside and gave us all a can of coke each. Soon after we started speaking to Clays mum, Drista, the almighty queen walked into the kitchen.
"Yo dudes" She said in an oddly similar fashion to Clay. We had spoken to Drista on discord before, but this was the first time us meeting her in real life.
"Clayy" I say peering over at him, he nodded for me to carry on speaking "I think I prefer your sister to you, I thought I should tell you, ya know" I giggled at my own funniness.
"As you should" Drista agreed with a smug look on her face.
Nick nodded and giggled in agreement while George just smiled, probably feeling awkward as it is the first time he's meeting Clays family and me and Nick aren't really helping him be less awkward. Clay looked at me with a joking dead stare, making me laugh even more.
"Remember, you guys are welcome here anytime" Clays mum, who I have learnt is called Clementine, cheerfully reminded us.
"Thank you so much" I say with a wide smile. The boys also thanked Clementine.
Drista then asked us to go see her room as it 'Is the best room in the house and deserves to be seen', her words not mine. She led us up the wooden staircase, I was walking up the stairs behind Nick and I started poking his back to see if I would get a reaction from him. He opened his hand behind him in response, as if he was asking me to hold his hand, I obviously wanted to accept this offer, although would it make the situation awkward? Eh fuck it, I place my hand in his, he strokes the back of my hand lightly, making my stomach erupt in butterflies.
Drista led us to a room, which I assume to be hers. She opened the door, and she was right, it is the coolest room in the house.
"Dude this room is so pog" I say probably sounding mesmerised. She gave us a full tour, she had a realllllyyy cool room

"Dré, you need to take some tips from your sister" I say in a half joking tone, half serious. Seriously, for a 14 year old she has some cool designs. She had polaroid photos of her and her friends hung up, you can tell by looking at her that she's Clays sister. They both share the same faces, kinda creepy tbh, but also really sweet.
I peer over to Drista "Psst, Drista don't tell anyone, but I prefer you over all the boys" I say quite loudly so the boys could hear what I was saying.
They each started defending themselves.
"Dude, we've been friends since we were like 13, and without me, you would of never met your precious NicK" George claimed, putting a weird mocking voice on at the end.
Next it was Nicks turn to defend, "y/n we are literally dating" He said smirking at me, he knew this would cause a lot of questionable noises from Clay and George.
"We've heard two defences, now kettle rhino fucker, what's your defence?" I say grinning, quickly changing the subject from my relationship.
"Without me you'd still be in the UK" he said with a goofy smile.
"oh my I miss the queen, big Liz, amen amen amen" I said pretending to wipe a fake tear.
"Fucking hell, have you been hanging around with the gremlin child or some shit" Clay said mid wheeze.
"THERE HE GOES AGAIN FAKE ASS KETTLE RHINO FUCKER BLOB MALE SPECIMEN WITH A HAIRBALL STUCK IN HIS THROAT" I started shouting. Drista also started wheezing at this point.
"Or gogys-" Nick murmured so only I could hear. I immediately started choking, everyone immediately started questioning what he had said, we just kept denying them, I quickly change the subject.
"NOT ONLY IS CLAYTON HERE AN ASTHMATIC SKUNK, ITS HEREDITARY, THEY'RE MULTIPLYING!!" after roughly an hour of joking about, we decided we should be heading home, we put the dogs on their harnesses and headed out of Clementine's house.
"I like your family Clayton" I said with a smile, although Clementine probably thought we were murdering people in her daughters bedroom considering the animalistic noises coming from her children.
When we got in the house, we immediately checked the house to see if anything was missing, nothing was gone which was kinda odd. We decided after the whole event that occurred it would be better for us to get security cameras outside the house, it may seem a bit extreme but it's better to be safe than sorry.
We then decided after the unexpected past couple days we should all just sleep. Nick and I headed to our room. We got changed into our pjs and laid in bed watching the first harry potter movie, at somepoint in the movie I fell asleep clinging to Nicks torso, soon after he also fell asleep leaning on my head.
