Recap

We eventually got to my moms house and I got out my car with Kai and made my way up to her door

I walked toward her door and knocked on it waiting for an answer anxiously

I heard footsteps approach the door making me sigh for relief and the door opened

"Monica what are you doing here so late" she said with sleep In her eyes and moving aside letting me in

"Are yall ok and why's Kais eyes so puffy she look like she been crying all day"she said

"I'll explain later but we gotta go you can't stay here"she said looking at me like I was insane

"What do you mean? What's going on?" She said

"I'll explain later but we gotta go now please"I said will she looked at me with confusion

"we gotta go now" I said

"Alright do you want me to pack do you want me to pack my things"she said

"Yeah pack essential" I said

Within five minutes she was done so we left her house and we got in my car

"You need to explain what's going on"she said as I started the car and i begun explain everything that was going about jahking and our past leaving nothing out

"I am so sorry you went through all that"she said as I finish explaining what happened between me and jahking in the past

"It's all right" I said

"So where we gonna go now"my mom said

"To a hotel till I try sort everything out"I said She said as she nodded her head

We made are way to an hotel and we booked are hotel room. We got are room and started to settle in

I put Kai to sleep and I got in bed because I was extremely tired and exhausted

I made a quick little prayer for protection and that Dave comes out soon while I rubbed my stomach and I felt little kicks making me smile

I tried to fall asleep but I couldn't with all the thoughts going through my head because I was paranoid and anxious

I got up and went to the balcony for fresh air because I couldn't breath properly

I started to get emotional because anything could have happened tonight to me and Kai and it made me realise we were not safe at all

"Monica you okay?"my mom said

"Mhm"I mumbled while wiping my face

"It's alright"she said pulling me into a hug and I broke down crying even more

"Monica come on stop crying your gonna stress the baby out and it not good for the baby's health"she said wiping my face and rubbing my back

"What's wrong"she said

"Nothing"I said not wanting to say much because I was tired and exhausted

"You sure?"she said

"Mhm" i mumbled while wiping my face

"I think you should file a restraining order on him" she said referring to jahking

"It not going to do anything a restraining order is only a piece of paper"I said wiping my face as she sighed

"Just don't think about it or stress about nothing"she said

"How am I not meant to stress too much shit happened this week"I said as my voice shook and I wiped my tears

"Just take it easy things will get better I promise" she said as I kept quiet And she rubbed my back

Next morning

"Mommy wake up" I heard kai say while shaking me

"What's wrong" I said half asleep

"Nothing I just want you to wake up"she said

"You okay?"I said as she shook her head

"Cmere" I said pulling her to my chest as she started to cry

"Come on don't cry"I said wiping her face

"What's wrong" I said

"I want daddy to come back" she said

"He will I promise"I said

"You said that yesterday and he hasn't come back" she said

"I know but it will be soon" I said

"But when"she said

"I don't know I can't say" I said

"I wanna talk to him" she said

"I will call him later in the afternoon"i said as she nodded her head and I wiped her face
