Two Companies, One Marriage (A SoarinDash Story)

Preparation was underway for Soarin and Dash's interview, with only 30 minutes till showtime everyone was on their toes trying to make sure that everything goes smoothly. Meanwhile and Dash's dressing room she and her mother were waiting on the makeup group to come along and give Dash a little makeover.

Dash's POV~

I don't understand why I need a makeup artist to come and give me a makeover. I never wear makeup and I don't want to wear makeup. I question my mom about it, and all she has to say is this, "Well sweetheart, I know you don't like to wear makeup, but it's just to try something a little different for this interview. I will tell them to go light on the makeup since you are not used to wearing it and do not like to wear it. How does that sound?"

I told my mom that sounds okay and we continue to wait until the makeup crew got there about 5 minutes later.

Soarin's POV~

I am fully ready for this interview and ready to get it over with. While I was waiting to be called to come into the room to have the interview with Dash in the reporter, I decided to text Dash and see how she was doing.

(A/N, this is how the convo went.)

Soarin:
Hey Dashie.

Rainbow:
Hey, what's up?

Soarin:
Nothing much, just want to see how you're holding up.

Rainbow:
Oh, fine I guess. I'm being forced to wear makeup tho=_=

Soarin:
Typical Dash, always a tomboy;)

Anyways do you know how much time is left till we got to start the interview?

Rainbow:
No, not exactly, um..... Probably about 15 minutes.

Soarin:
Okay, thanks

Rainbow:
Np

After that, we stopped texting until the interview.

No One's POV~

With only 5 minutes till the interview, the two of them both left their dressing rooms and went out on set where the interview was going to take place. When they went into the room all that they could see were bright lights and a ton of crew members rushing around the area to finish the prep for the interview. Then a lady walked up to them, introduced herself, and said that she would be the reporter interviewing them. She also wants to let them know that this was going to be a  live broadcast on multiple channels and stations. With only 3 minutes until their interview went live, Rainbow got a text from Applejack, it said, "Hey RD, guess what?, school got canceled today so we'll be able to watch the news and the new live exclusive interview that's happening today just like we always do on Fridays."

Rainbow was in total shock, she showed Soarin the text message and he too was shocked. They didn't know what to do because they knew everyone at school watched this channel and watched these exclusive interviews (mainly because most of their school likes to gossip), so they were going to be embarrassed in front of the whole school. With only one minute till they went live, the two wouldn't do anything about it because it was already too late and they were about to start. So the only thing that they could do now was to sit down in their seats and wait for the countdown to tell them that the interview was live and that they could start answering questions and introducing themselves.

So with this in their minds, they sat down in the little area where they need to be seated and the cameraman began the countdown, "Ok, will be rolling in three... two... one... Rolling".

"Good afternoon everyone and welcomes to Friday's exclusive interviews with me your host, Maria Mic. Today I have two very special guests who I know you all will just enjoy hearing from. Now without further Ado why don't we let our guests introduce themselves".

"Alright, hi Maire is nice to meet you, I'm Soarin Skies".

"And I'm Rainbow Dash".

"So as you all know everyone's been talking about it and that is the engagement between you two. So how did it all start?"

"Well, our parents thought it would be good if their companies merged and became one company, but the only way to do that is if I and Rainbow got married", said Soarin.

"Oh wow, that's amazing".

"Yeah, the thought of merging the two companies is a really good idea", said Rainbow.

"Okay, my next question is 'before this engagement, were you two already in a relationship, and if so, how long have you two been together?'", said the reporter with much excitement in her voice.

To two of them, both said no, and then the interview carried on with more questions about how the relationship would go and how their merging of the companies would work out. Before the interview ended the reporter had one more question, "Before we close out, I have but, one final question for you two. In the future do you plan to have children of your own and keep the family legacy going strong, or is that already in the plan?".

The two of them just stared at each other for a moment and Soarin came up with a quick yet simple answer that saved their skins, "For now we just want to focus on the merging of the companies and the whole engagement thing, we still have a while till we're ready for our complete future."

With that being said they concluded the interview, should the reporter's hand, and went on about their day. When they got home they were both very exhausted from the long day that they had, but it wasn't over yet because Rainbow's phone began to ring.
