{ Sapphire's POV }

"Saphie, wake up... don't make me hit your forehead just to wake you up," Stiles said.

My hand rushed up, catching Stiles' wrists before he could attempt to hit my head.

"Brother, that might have been the worst decision you could have made." I coughed, feeling my throat dry and hoarse.

Although my body was healing, the shock continued to give me pain. Stiles assisted me in sitting down, and I gently groaned as I felt extra pain shifting positions. 'Damn, I despise stun guns.'

"Are Scott, Kira, and Malia okay?" I questioned Stiles while leaning against his chest since I felt exhausted. How much voltage was in the stun gun, and most importantly, how long did Araya shock me?

"Malia and Kira are awake, but Scott is still unconscious." I nodded as Stiles said. I then became aware of something. "Where is Lydia?"

I overheard Stiles sighing and detected sorrow in his chemo signal. "They've got Lydia."

I was going to ask why when I heard a faint groan.

"He's awake, he's awake, guys," Kira exclaimed while beaming.

My body started to completely heal, and I no longer felt drained as I watched Scott recovering. There was not a single soreness in my body. I assumed it was most likely just the connection between Alpha and Beta. As soon as I noticed Scott was awake, I jumped to my feet, and Stiles followed. We rushed over to him. I knelt down by his side.

"You good, Scott?" Stiles asked. Scott blinked a few times to adjust to the light before we helped him get to his feet.

Once he was standing, he nods, "Yeah." They don't have him. They don't have Derek."

I pursed my lips before replying. "We know. But they took, Lydia."

Scott furrowed his brow in thought. "Lydia? What do they want with Lydia?"

I shrugged as I hadn't had the opportunity to ask that question. Walking up to the door, Scott tried to open it, but nothing happened.

Kira said, glancing around, "We already looked for a way out. "I think a lot of people have," I said, noticing the claw marks on the wall.

"I say when the door opens again, we take out whoever is in our way and run for it," Malia suggested, and I nodded in agreement.

"How about Lydia?"

"What about her?" Malia asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We're not leaving without her," Scott stated.

"Why not?"

"Because we don't leave without people," Stiles responded, walking towards Malia. "Remember when we talked about this? The rules of the wild kingdom do not apply to friends." Malia looked down as he finished.

With a shrug, I turned to face Scott and Kira. It's progress.

Malia has been re-learning everything about how a normal person would respond to a situation ever since she changed back to human. I can't say that I blame the girl because she spent eight years stuck within a coyote's body. I don't think anyone with a brain would socialize with a coyote. I mean anyone who doesn't know that the coyote is a girl that eats deer and lives in the woods.

" Is that what you would do as a coyote? Leave her for dead?" Kira asked, frowning.

" If she was weak and injured yeah," Malia answered and I look at her weirdly. "If hunting had been bad that season, I would her, then I'd leave."
