"So you're just letting us go?

Araya and her hunters simply allowed us to leave after Scott was electrocuted and discovered who had actually abducted Derek. Not that I mind.

I was listening in on what Scott and Araya were saying with Stiles and Malia near the jeep.

"I sent four men to where Kate was last seen. None of them came back..." He was told by Araya."Let's see if you can do better."

"You could've told me she was alive." Scott used reason.

"You wouldn't have believed me. Now I know what kind of alpha you are, and where your next step lies."

"What's the next step?"

"When you take a bite if an innocent. When you make a wolf of your own. When you do that, then I will cross your border and come knocking at your door."

Araya's gaze sharpened when she noticed me, which caused Scott to turn to face me.

"Another thing Scott, your beta Sapphire, what is she?"

They were still glancing my way, and Scott can tell I'm listening, I'm also quite sure Araya can too.

"She's a Phoenix"

"Great going Scott, sure why not tell the people who kidnaped and tried to kill us what we are and our entire story," I muttered under my breath, rolling my eyes

Once Stiles told me to get in the jeep, I stop listening. I watched Scott walk toward us once I got inside.

"So, what now?" Stiles asked.

"She thinks she knows where we can find Derek," Scott answered.

"She gonna tell us where?" Malia asked.

"Uh, actually she's giving us a guide." Scott pointed somewhere behind the jeep.

We all turned around to see a motorbike approaching us. When it stopped, I recognized the girl.

"Braeden," I said out loud

"You know her?" "Who's Braeden?" Stiles and Kira asked us at the same time.

"She's a mercenary" Lydia answered

"Right now, I'm the only one who's gonna take you to La Iglesia." Braeden declared walking towards us. "The church?" Braeden nodded as I asked."What's the church?" Stiles asked Braeden."It's not a place you'll find god."

While Scott sat in the passenger seat, the girls were crammed in the back, and I was perched on Lydia's lap as Stiles drove as we followed Braeden.

Malia shifted a little forward. "All right, I'll ask, Who is Kate Argent?"

Kira adds, "Uh, I'd like to know too."

"Well we were at her funeral," Stiles says. "So I'd like to know how she got out of a casket that was buried six feet underground."

"What if she was never in it?" I mumbled. "I mean it was a closed casket, it is a possibility that the body was never in there. What if Gerard wasn't angry that his daughter died, but she had become the very thing they sought to make extinct? Or maybe the Calaveras took her from the morgue, placing a look-alike, since they were the only ones that knew she was alive?..." I trailed off going into my thoughts quietly.

"She was Allison's aunt," Lydia said quietly. I felt sorrow coming from Scott and Lydia, I looked out the window reminiscing the thing I did with her.

"And a total sociopath." I finished, Lydia, nodding her head in agreement.
