The Walking Fanfic (Camila/You)

Chapter Twelve

As you guys walked outside there were tons of fans waiting to get their last glimpse of the girls of Fifth Harmony and you couldn’t help but smile to yourself thinking that that almost would’ve been you and you felt a pang of sympathy run through your chest. You let go of Camila’s hand as all the other girls ran to greet the fans. Camila looked at you confused as to why you let go of her hand, you just smiled and said

“Camila, that was almost me. If I hadn’t gotten so lucky I’d be with the rest of the Harmonizers over there. I’ll take care of our stuff and put it in the car, don’t worry, and please don’t let dating me interfere with the close relationship you have with Harmonizers. They adore you, go say hi to them” 

“Thank you. I wanted to go over there but didn’t want to leave you” she said with a shy little smile. 

“Go on babe” You said kissing her cheek while she pulled you into a hug. She ran to greet the fans and you grabbed all the girls’ luggage and put it in the back of the car. You were about to get in the car and wait for them when you heard your name being called. You didn’t recognize the voice so you looked around confused. 

“Y/N Y/N OVER HERE!” 

“Oh hi” you said awkwardly. “How do you know my name?” 

“How does anyone NOT know your name?? You’re Camila’s girlfriend right? You guys are so so cute together oh my god!!” 

 “Thank you! She makes me really happy” You said with a smile. 

“Camila said the same thing about you!!” 

“Oh did she now?” You said with a smirk looking in Camila’s direction. 

“Can I have a selfie with you before you go?” 

“Um yeah, sure” You said. Smiling with your arm around the girl before heading Camila’s direction. When you got to her her back was to you, so you scooped her up bridal style, earning a scream out of her. 

“Oh its just you” She said, giggling. 

“JUST me? I would drop you if you weren’t such a cutie” She laughed then squeeled when you put her down. 

“So a little birdy just told me that you said I make you really happy” You said, pointing out the girl you just took a picture with. Camila blushed and all the fans collectively “awwwed” 

“Well of course you do silly. You should know that better than anyone else here, you’re the one who’s been seeing that happiness first hand lately” She said, while grabbing your hand. 

“Alright lets wrap it up we have a plane to catch!!!” Ally said, reminding you of a mother. 

“Bye guys I love you all so much mwah mwah mwah!” Camila said, blowing kisses. You all got in the car and immediately Camila laid her head on your shoulder. 

“You tired babe?” You asked laughing. 

“Just because I put my head here doesn’t mean that I’m tired. But yeah. I am tired. Unlike YOU I actually woke up early today to be all prepared” 

“I’m lazy” You said with a shrug while laughing. 

“Y’all need to stop with this cute shit” Dinah said “I don’t know how much I can take” She continued while laughing. 

“Shhh Mila’s happy!” Ally said. 

“Well yeah, I know. I’m glad she is too. It’s about time she found the right person” 

When Dinah said that you noticed Lauren glare at you for a minute and then shift uncomfortably. You pretended you never saw it and started to rub Camila’s back until you eventually felt her breathing slow, signaling that she was asleep. This was your first real look at her sleeping and it was down right adorable, she was cuddled into you like a ball and looked so peaceful. When you got to the airport you didn’t want to wake her, so Big Rob took yours and her bags while Jacob took the guitars so that you could just carry her. You carried her bridal style at first but once people started to crowd the girls at the terminal to wait for the plane you adjusted so that her head was on your shoulder and her stomach against hers. You thought it was really funny how you’ve always wanted one of her koala hugs and now you’re holding her while sleeping in the same way as one of them. Finally the plane you guys were on began boarding and you all took your seats. You had to put Camila down which made you kind of sad but her seat was right next to yours so it didn’t bother you too much. But when you put her down she started waking up. She rubbed her eyes and said 

“Why’d you stop carrying me y/n?” With the sleepiest voice ever and it killed you.

“Well baby, we’re at our seats now, I can’t hold you while we’re on the plane. But here, I’ll move the armrest up so as long as you stayed buckled in you can cuddle into me and sleep okay?” She sleepily nodded her head yes and cuddled into you the same way she did in the car. 

“Can you do the back thing?” 

“The thing where I rubbed it?” 

“Yeah and it felt all tickly. I really liked it. It helped me sleep a lot faster and better” 

“Okay baby, no problem” You said as you started rubbing her back again. A small smile crept onto her face as she began to doze off again. Dinah was taking all sorts of pictures and videos of you two while waiting for the plane to take off.

“Dinah, you’re a bigger fangirl than your own fans! What’s up with that?”

“When something is cute I take pictures, and you two are THE MOST adorable thing I’ve ever seen. No one has ever treated Mila like the way you are. And no one, not even me, would’ve carried her all through that airport” She said laughing. As she started to take another video of you two, you didn’t care so just carried on the conversation. 

“Well I love Camila, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for her. Her smile is a blessing, and it saves lives. So I’m gonna always keep her smiling” Dinah’s mouth fell into an O shape and so did yours after you thought about what you had just said. You immediately went wide eyed and looked down to see if Camila was asleep. It seemed like she was so you looked back at Dinah. She started squeeling. 

“AWW I TOTALLY JUST GOT YOU SAYING THAT YOU LOVE MILA ON RECORDING” 

“DINAH JANE HANSEN YOU BETTER NOT PUT THAT ANYWHERE”

“ITS ALREADY ON SNAPCHAT HAH WHATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT IT? YOU CAN’T MOVE, YOU’LL WAKE YOUR GIRLFRIEND”

“Oh you BEST BELIEVE I’ma get you when this plane lands Hansen!” She put her hands up in defense and snickered. You just sighed and leaned back to try and enjoy the ride. You closed your eyes hoping that by the time you woke up you’d be landing in L.A.
