Wasted

Chapter Two

"

I think she said her name but I was wasted
I don't care anymore
One foot out the door"

His mind began to wander as he watched her ride by .

Mike dragging the Hopper girl along, her smile gave Will butterflies or it was the cocaine in the cola can he had earlier. Tears flooded his mind and Will's tone died.

He became numb of the oppiite sex, because that’s all Will wanted Eleven to be was the opposite sex. He didn’t want to admit the feeling he had begun to catch for her.

He didn’t want to hurt Mike. Confused, confused is all Will truly was. Meaning Joyce had Hopper, Jonathan had Nacy, and Will had denial. Wil had the urge to call her and tell her everything. Yet, the Byers boy never could.

Because he was still a sensitive, young, stupid teenager. Stupid teeenager was all had had been taught to do.

Stupid dumbass teenager wasn’t supposed to fall in love in the classics it never worked out.

High school sweethearts don’t end up together. Or they end in divorce separating the children from their untied home.

Will had been one of those children it pained him to know that.

However, he knew Eleven hadn’t even hd anysane parents therefore, Will was grateful. Grateful for his Father walking out. Otherwise, Joyce may have ended up like Karen Wheeler, flirting hopelessly with a teenage lifeguard.

God Billy Hargove’s mullet killed Mrs.Wheeler, Will never understood Mike’s Mom’s fascation with the teenage boy. Although, Will did understand how love can build or tear someone to hopeless little mindless shreds of confetti to sprinkle on the significant other’s next relationship.

Or current in Will’s case...

Will hadn’t known Jane broke up with Mike yet. That would give him too much joy. Will need one more day to pretend to deny that he didn’t love Eleven more than just friends.

Will did know that Eleven dumped Mike. For one more day he wanted to never get too excited.

“Excitement never lasts.” Will muttered staring deeply into the depths of his tan ceiling studding each little bump and trace of uniqueness.

Will cried, WIll had only been crying since he had gotten back from the upside down.

Although Years had passed since the fateful night Will disappeared from a small wound that drew a small bit of blood, Will couldn’t rejoin in who he once was.

The stranger fears an instifive test that aids into his PTSD. A few kids riding around with a few playing cards on the wheels of their bicycles triggered Will.

OfCourse no one would ever know because that made him weak. “Crying makes you weak,” Will’s little voice reminded him once again.

“Fuck!” Will shouted he was still only home alone. Joyce wouldn’t be home for hours because she had to work. Yet, business had been slow since Starcourt mall opened up in Hawkins that summer. Will gathered himself before exiting to go to Mike Wheeler’s house.

Prices vary between fact and fiction. Eleven sat staring blankly at her tile ceiling, playing with her fingers. Her gut was screaming at her to call Will, yet her mind was still repeating the lingering thought of her standing infront of Will Byers house, Eleven’s mind was racing. Her heart beating
