Juliette's P.O.V.

The way he said that, it was eery and made me want to jump out of my skin. It was as though he were taunting me. His eyes spoke more though. They were dark and evil. Just pure evil. It terrified me. I wanted him to look at anything else at this point. I thought he was staring into my soul.

"I have heard of the stories about me in your land." He started breaking the silence. "I can't begin to say how wrong those stories are. Who came up with that anyway? Where did they get I was this little red haired boy?" It seemed like this was more of him talking to himself rather than to me. "It a little insulting to me personally."

I just didn't look at him. I couldn't look at him. I don't know what he wants. I wish he would just get to the point already. "What do you want from me?" I finally asked.

Peter looked a little confused when I asked this. "What?"

"I asked you what it is you want from me. So, what is it? I will give you whatever you want if you will let me go. I won't even tell anyone. I promise."

He bent down to my level and our noses were not even an inch apart. They were practically touching. "I have no idea why it is that you would think I want anything from you. I just want you." He says while playing with my hair.

I still don't look at him. Tears are threatening to fall out of my eyes once again. I was scared. He gently grabbed my chin and made me look into his eyes. His eyes softened when he looked into my glassy ones. " I want you and only you." He told me truthfully. It was obvious by his tone of voice he was telling the truth that he wanted me and only me.

"Peter, Peter, please untie my hands. They hurt." I told him turthfully in a meek voice. They were hurting me. Also, if I got them off, maybe I could get away from him and find someone who could help me.

He shook his head like he knew what I was thinking. All of a sudden, his gentle touch of my chin turned into a harsh grab of my jaw. He was digging his nails into my skin. I wouldn't be surprised if he drew blood.

His eyes went ten shades darker than the night sky. "Do you think I'm stupid?" Peter asked his voice deeper than it was before. "Do you think that I would be stupid enough to untie your hands in an open area that you could just runaway from me?" I whimpered under his touch.

Peter released my jaw and took a few steps away from me. I backed away from him, only to be stopped by a tree. He just chuckled to himself a little. "I mean, even if you were to run away from me, I would be able to get you back in a matter of seconds. It's just the fact that you would runaway from me."

"Peter, please this is insanity. You have to le-"

"I don't have to do anything!" He interrupted yelling at me.

"Just calm down." He didn't say anything. He stared at me. I couldn't read his face. I didn't know what he wanted. It was hard to tell.

In the blink of an eye, we were back in the tree house. I look around frantically. My hands were tied to the bed pole once again. Peter was sitting in the same place one the bed. As though we had never left.

His hand was caressing my face. I stiffened at his touch. His hand slowly moved down my neck and found it's way to my chest. I thought that he was going to do something to me and I began to cry harder. But to my surprise, his hand rested on my heart.

He leaned down close to me. "I have to take care of some business." He told me. "You are going to stay here just for the night." I start to squirm more to get out of the ropes. He placed both of his hands on top of mine to settle them. "Don't worry, I'll be back before morning." He says as though that was what I was scared of. "Just stay up here and rest."

With that, he vanished leaving me with my tears and confusion. Who was that? I thought to myself. Who was that... demon?
