Happily Ever After {SakuAtsu}

2. Laughs

Sakusa, Atsumu, Scout, Osamu, Rintarō, Mitsuki, Noah, and Ayaka were preparing to have dinner at the park down the road from the house. They already had one picnic basket ready now to prepare the other two.

“Chips!” Ayaka shouted. “Check!” Atsumu yelled back. The two kept making sure they had everything while Osamu and Rintarō got their daughter dressed, Sakusa got the puppy ready, and Noah finished using the restroom.

“Okay, were ready!” Ayaka said. She and Noah grabbed the picnic baskets and went to their van, waiting for everyone. “C'mon Suki, let's go. Do you want papa or daddy to hold ya?” Osamu asked his daughter. “Papa!” she babbled.

Atsumu ran to Sakusa and his room to see Sakusa still trying to out Scouts harness on him. Atsumu laughed an grabbed the four month old pup.

“Now ya can put it on him.” Atsumu smiled. Sakusa sighed and put the black harness on him. He grabbed the leash and attached it to the harness then the three walked out the door, meeting everyone in the car.

They all arrived at the park and exited the car, grabbing the picnic baskets and blankets. Ayaka, Noah, and Sakusa set everything up while the rest played with the baby and the puppy.

“So, when is the wedding?” Ayaka smiled. “We don't have an exact date yet..but we have everything planned so it should be soon.” Sakusa replied. “Who is your best man? And Atsumu's bride's made I think you call it.” Noah asked.

“Motoya is my best man, and one of Atsumu's cousins is his bride's made. I think their name is Sahirah or something.” Sakusa said. The two nodded and hugged him. His mother kissed his forehead. “I'm so proud of you..” his mom said softly.

“Haha, thanks-” “Omi!” Sakusa looked at Atsumu and saw him holding the puppy, his paw was bleeding. “Shit, what happened?!” he asked running over to him. “He was runnin on the concrete then he slipped, do ya have a paper towel?” Atsumu asked as he continued to let the whimpering puppy.

“Here you go.” Akaya said, handing Atsumu a towel. She thanked them and helped their child out, after that was figured out the puppy was back to running around in the grass.

Sakusa and Atsumu sat on the blanket and watched their puppy play with a bone they bought yesterday. Mitsuki was watching the dog from afar, mumbling his name. Ayaka and Noah were finishing cooking the rest of the food on the grill.

{Atsumu Miya P.O.V}

“Foods ready!” Sakusa's Mom yelled. We all stood up and walked over to her, the first thing I did was get Scout some steak and a bit of dog food. I set his food and water on the ground and started getting myself a plate to eat.

Omi stood by me and waited for me to grab a bit of food, after I did he brought the puppy to our picnic area. “Are you gonna eat all that?” he asks. “I'll try..did ya bring it?” I ask. He nodded and handed me a pill. I grabbed my water bottle and drank it, also swallowing the pill.

“Haha! Ya can start eatin o.i, it'll take a minute for the pills effects to kick in!” I laugh. He chuckled and nodded eating his steak. I looked around me and saw everyone laughing and talking to each other, it's amazing!

We have never all gotten to go out all together like this before, especially because Osamu, Rintarō, and Mitsuki live all the way in Mississippi. Which means we don't see them often. I smile and suddenly my stomach grumbled.

Omi laughed as I started munching on my food. Ayaka stood up and took a picture of us all, yep..I think this is one of the best days ever! Scout and Mitsuki started playing with the ball while the rest of us were chatting and laughing.

“I brought beer.” Noah said, he stood up and brought a cooler near us all. We each grabbed one and continued talking and just catching up in general. Amazing!
