Who could have thought that the famous, and not in a good way, Gellert Grindelwald had a daughter ? Who was the woman who fell in love with him ? After all, they all thought he was incapable of such a thing as love.

And they were wrong.

He was capable of love. Although their relationship was a secret, the daughter they created wasn't. Only a few had seen her and knew her name. But the fact remained ; she was a secret, a mystery.

As soon as she was born, during May of 1980, Charlotte was handed to Diane Brown by her mother herself who feared what Gellert would do to her, what he had done to her.

Diane Brown was a very secretive woman who only told her three facts about Charlotte ; she was Gellert Grindelwald's daughter, her mother disappeared and she, Charlotte, was to become a very powerful and strong witch. Young Charlotte always tried to learn more, but "You'll know when you're ready." was all she got.

During the night of the first day of March 1987, Diane dissapeared. While Charlotte thought she'll have to live the next eleven years in a muggle orphanage, a request from a man was made for her to be instead placed in St. Mungo's magical Hospital where she would live some very lonely 8 years.

Her transfer to St. Mungo's was at first calm, the healers were very kind and fond of her. All until she started hearing a voice at the age of ten. She would hear it at anytime of the day and when she did, she would scream out of fear, which made the healers strap her down to her bed and force her to drink some calming draught. Soon she would hear two distinct voices. One was icy and weak, the other broken but also confident, both men.

The icy and weak voice would talk to himself, not realizing that Charlotte could hear him. The broken but confident voice would speak to her directly. He always called her by her name, teach her things about magic that she started to write down in a notebook on which she carved her name, Charlotte, with one of the plastic fork from the hospital on the dark brown leather cover. With time, she would hear more and more voices that whispered some of the events happening outside of the hospital. But only two of them always came back ; the icy and weak one and the broken but confident one.

With time, she started to be able to talk back to the voices, ask them questions. A healer once caught her, but instead of strapping her down and forcing her potions, he ran away in fear and Charlotte never saw him again.

She soon realized, thanks to the other voices, that she the icy one was in fact Voldemort or as she liked to call him, Riddle. And a lot of convincing and struggle, the man with the broken voice revealed how he knew her name. He was Gellert Grindelwald, her father.

She would often ask him questions about the wizarding world only to ignore him when he started to tell her about blood status.

With even more time, she learned to control and stop the voices.

By the age of 15, though she never went to a wizarding school, her knowledge about magic was dangerously large. Charlotte would be lying if she said that the library section of the hospital was small. As the healers forbade her a wand, she never got to practice magic, but she knew she was talented.

She only knew three facts about herself, which, in a way, reassured her. She was scared of who she really was.

Though she was much more powerful than she thought, she could not only know about stranger's secrets and she knew it, but what else could she do ? The voices never answered.

Her destiny like a starry night sky ; dark with sparks of light.
