The rest of the weekend went smoothly. The October sun was shining brightly and a light breeze came tickling the cheeks of the students that went outside. After Ron and Harry finished their homework with the help of Hermione and Charlotte, they decided to go on a picnic by the beech trees. The four of them were sitting on a red plaid blanket, muffins and bottles of pumpkin juice displayed in the middle. Hermione was leaning on the tree, knitting some hats for the house elves. Ron was sitting cross legged, watching with amusement some first years get splashed by the Giant Squid. Charlotte was leaning on Harry's shoulder, trying to take a nap while the boy was against another tree, reading a book about Quidditch.

The blonde girl started to feel sleep take over her when she felt a muffin hit her face, "What the-" she wondered, opening her eyes only to see the scared face of her red headed friend.

"Sorry- I was aiming for Harry ! Please don't hex me !"

"What do you mean you were aiming for me ?" the boy with raven hair asked with narrowed eyes.

"He was trying to throw the muffin at you." Hermione answered, perking her head up. Ron stood up, thinking he was going to get hexed so Harry stood up, making Charlotte fall.

"Are you kidding me ?" she threw the muffin at him. Ron's laughter came to their ears, they both threw a muffin at him.

"Hey !" he complained. Suddenly, his face lit up, a mischievous twinkle in his brown eyes. He picked up a bottle of pumpkin juice as if he was going to drink it, but at the last second, he emptied it on his friends head, nearly missing an angry looking Hermione.

"Ron, you son of a banshee ! You better start running !" She picked up a bottle of juice and started chasing her friend with red hair, her friend with raven hair following her movements, leaving behind their friend with bushy hair with a disapproving- but amused look as she shook her head.

Charlotte tried her best to empty her bottle on Ron while running. With the help of a little sprint- she could run very fast when she wanted, she reached him and tackled him down. Once he got to them, Harry took a muffin out of his pocket and spread it on Ron's face, giving him some kind of blueberry and chocolate face mask. The boy quickly escaped from the blonde's grip and ran back to Hermione, cursing at his friends. By now half of the school was watching them and placing bets on who they thought the winner would be.

"Language Ron !" Harry shouted, clutching his stomach from laughter. Charlotte was doing the same and started to feel her stomach hurt from the laughter when she suddenly felt a cold liquid drip from the top of her head, reaching the low of her back. She looked up to come face to face with an even more laughing Harry- if that was possible, holding an empty bottle of pumpkin juice

"Harry James Potter you better run while you can !" she warned as she chased after him. It didn't take her long to reach him and as she extended her arm to crab him by the back of his shirt, she tripped and fell down, dragging Harry with her.

"Bloody hell you're heavy !" she grunted as he fell on top of her.

"Sorry-" he mumbled as he rolled on the side. They looked at each other and locked eyes, emerald and sapphire, forest and sea, Earth and Neptune. They lost themselves in each other's eyes and they felt comfort in doing so. As realization hit them both, they broke eye contact with heavy blushes plastered on their cheeks and butterflies living in their stomachs. They glanced over at Ron, relieved to see him too busy being chased by water.

They awkwardly stood up and made their way back to the trees, oblivious to the new bets that students were forming.
