Chapter 5 : Hogwarts

"MUD-BLOODS ! BLOOD TRAITORS ! FILTHY HALF-BLOOD !"

Charlotte, Hermione and Ginny woke up at the sound of a yelling Walburga. They all looked at each other. Hermione yawned while Ginny and Charlotte both groaned and buried their heads in their pillows making Hermione giggle. The door of their bedroom opened showing Molly Weasley.

"Oh good, you're up." she said to herself. "Not by choice" Charlotte heard Ginny groan. But Molly ignored their chuckles and added ;

"Breakfast is ready, we leave for King Cross in about two hours." then she left the room leaving the girls to get ready.

Ginny was the first to go to the bathroom so Hermione and Charlotte were packing their belongings.

"So, are you excited about going to Hogwarts ?" Hermione asked.

Charlotte shot her head up and thought about the question for a while before answering ;

"Yeah, I think so. Hogwarts will be much better than St. Mungo's, I have you guys at Hogwarts !" Hermione smiled at her. "I mean, I can't wait to follow you in your classes especially potions." she said with a mischievous grin watching as Hermione frowned at her with eyes full of anticipation. "And don't even get me started on defending you when Malfoy and his minions insult you. But I have this bad feeling about this year in my stomach and so far every time I've had a bad feeling about something it turns out bad. I just hope I'm not overthinking."

She sat on her bed looking at Hermione.

"No you're definitely overthinking. But don't worry, I'll be there if you need anything and same goes for the rest of us. We're your friends, you can count on us." Hermione said looking at her with a kind smile that made Charlotte smile back.

"Thank you Hermione. You have no idea how much this means to me, I never had friends before. And then I show up in this creepy house and all of a sudden I have six friends !" she said the last part sarcastically which made the two girls giggle.

Charlotte got up and went to hug Hermione who was very startled at first but then quickly gave in. It was the first time Charlotte let anyone touch her. Usually when she came as close as brushing someone a little, she was startled and would quickly back off. But this time Charlotte really meant it. She really didn't think Hermione knew how much this meant for her, they were her first friends, ever.

The door of the bedroom opened showing Ginny with a maroon shirt and a pair of jeans with her hair in a low ponytail.

"Oh so we're hugging now ?" She asked rushing over to the two girls who took her in their hug. They were all laughing, it was a happy moment Charlotte would never forget.

She was now standing in the living room saying goodbye to the adults. Dumbledore had requested for her to come to Hogwarts by Floo Network from the Leaky Cauldron to which she was going to Apparate with Remus.

"Ready ?" Remus asked her, she nodded giving one last look at Tonks, Sirius, Alastor, Molly and Arthur. She felt the Disillusionment charm being cast on her and they got out of the house, her suitcase in hand. Remus gave her arm, she took it closing her eyes. Standing in a pub full of wizards when she opened them again.

"The fire place is out there.." he informed her, leading her to the end of the room. He then handed her a bag full of the silver Floo Powder. She grabbed some in her hand. "Keep an eye on Harry and his scar." She nodded and said ;

"I'll see you when I'll see you." she stood in the fireplace and announced ; "Dumbledore's office, Hogwarts."

Green flames were then engulfing her and about four seconds later, she was standing in the fireplace of Dumbledore's office.
