"I swear to fucking god, Kirishima, did you just push me?"

He gasped. "Did you just last-name me?"

I put my hands on my hips defiantly. "Depends. Did you just push me?"

He laughed. "Couldn't have you beating me."

"I've been beating you since the day we met, Eijirou. Still not used to it?" I smirked.

"Is that what you think?" He raised an eyebrow, and I watched as his eyes cut to the side. "Wait, aren't they in our class?"

I followed his gaze back to the front of the convenience store, where three people were walking out— the pink-skinned girl and the yellow-haired guy who were almost late to class, and the girl with the earbuds who sat in front of me.

"Should we talk to them?" I ventured.

He shot me a quick smile. "Of course. It wouldn't be very manly of us-"

Despite how sexist that sounded, I laughed. "Yeah, yeah. Hey, guys!" I waved my hand, jogging over to the three, who stopped walking to turn and look at us.

"You guys are in class 1-A too!" The pink girl clapped her hands together excitedly. "We didn't really do introductions, so I'm Mina Ashido!"

"Ashido," I echoed, sticking my hand out with a grin.

She shook my hand with an even wider smile. "You can call me Mina, you know. I have a feeling we'll be friends."

I laughed. "Fair enough. Y/N  Y/L/N. And this little ball of energy here is Eijirou Kirishima, or Sharky."

He rolled his eyes at me. "Seriously? In front of people?" I giggled.

"Why Sharky?" The girl with the earbuds asked quizzically.

Eiji bared his teeth, and the three let out a collective "ahh".

I laughed. "It's cute."

"Are you two dating?" The yellow-haired guy asked, his eyebrows raised.

"Oh, God, no. Long time friends, though." I nodded towards him.

"Oh, cool. I'm Denki Kaminari." He had a cute smile— a little lopsided, which made it all the more endearing.

"Kyoka Jirou," the girl with earbuds introduced with a somewhat awkward smile.

"Hey, my dad won't be home for a while. You guys wanna hang out at my place? It's just down the corner." I turned around and pointed down the street. "I was gonna race Eijirou, but his bitch ass pushed me to get a head start."

He snorted, and I gave him a bitter glance.

"I don't have anything else to do, we were just gonna walk home." Mina shrugged, still smiling. She had Kirishima's kind of energy, and I realized she'd been right earlier: we'd be good friends.

"I'm down," Jirou agreed.

"Hell yeah!" Kaminari pumped his fist into the air.

I started leading them down the sidewalk towards my house, turning around to talk when Mina spoke.

"So what are your quirks?" She asked excitedly.

"Hardening!" Eiji slammed his fist together in his signature pose, his arms hardening as he said it.

Kaminari snorted. "Hardening?"

I couldn't help but laugh along, and I noticed Jirou laughing too. "You really have to stop saying that with no context. No, wait, I think saying the full thing is worse."
