"Well, Im happy you're here!" Jungkook said, giving me a welcoming smile.

I may have rushed a little but I finally arrived at my date with him. We sat together at the coffee shop he worked at. 

I had dressed in a simple shirt and jeans, he had also already bought our drinks.  I quickly grabbed my drink and took a sip, staring at the window. 

To be honest, I had no idea what to say. JungKook too looked shy. 

Be brave Y/n! You're going on a date with a hot guy! And he's sweet, take this man home and make him the best damn husband in the world.

"Hmm, what are some things you like doing out of the café?" 

He looked up at me then back at the table giving a second to find a good answer.

"I love painting, working out and playing video games!" He says confidently, I could see that muscles on his arm when he cuffed his sleeves, but I didn't know he liked video games.

"I told you to leave the video game part out! She'll think you're a totally nerd." Jimin yell-whispered. Jungkook instantly blushed in embarrassment but I laughed. 

Jimin then gave me a thumbs up and walked back to the break room. I looked back at Jungkook to see he covered his face shyly.

I quickly spoke up, "Pft, I think pretty cool! I like video games too." He stopped covering his face and looked at my excitedly.

"Really? What do you play?" I laughed at his excited expressed, "I like overwatch a lot!" It was the first game that came to mind, and it was definitely one of my favorites.

I watched as his eyes lit up and he gave a contagious smile. "No way, you're cooler than I though, I think we'd have a lot of fun playing together." Jungkook offered, and who could say no to that??

Then he quickly got embarrassed by his confidence, "Of course.. only if you want to!'

"Yeah, obviously i'd love to!" We both looked at eachother, even though it was the first date, we already got along quite well.

<Time Skip to After Date>

I opened the door to my apartment to see Taehyung eagerly waiting inside.

"So, how'd it go.. hm?"

I gave TaeHyung an enthusiastic thumbs up. His face lit up.

"I told you that Jungkook was the most compatible for you!" Even though I didn't want to admit it, he picked a good choice. 

He looked at me with proud eyes and swooped in for a big hug. I was no prepared but chuckled as I felt his is arms wrap around me.

"Sheesh, it isn't like I won the lottery." Then I quickly thought about it.. "You're right! I kinda did, huh!" And happily hugged him back.

Then he released from the hug and looked around the apartment. 

"Soo.. I know I kinda insulted your eggs, but it's what i've been craving for hours so can you please make it more me?" He pouted at me and I patted his head reluctantly.

He ate the eggs happily, it actually make me happy to see him love my cooking so much. Even if it only took the crack of an egg. While watching him, my mind drifts off the date with Jungkook.

We really had an amazing time and it went a lot better than expected. But even after all that, there was a fear. I hated that I was still scared, but looking at Taehyung.. I felt it was safe to trust him.

I wish things were more simple, you just meeting the perfect guy and then you have a happy marriage, get happy kids then dying happily. But here I am, apparently Cupid being my last resort, eating my eggs. 

I laughed lightly thinking about it. In general, things have been more at ease with him.. Its honestly nice to know he's there for me.

Sheesh.. That sounds weird. Well, whatever!

"Im done!" I grab the plate from Taehyung and place it in the dishwasher. "Uhh, by the way Taehyung.. When will you give me like, give me that rose thing?" 

He was surprised by the sudden question and hesitates to answer.

"Well, that part is complicated.. Honestly, when you truly feel you want to commit to that person. The rose seals the love of two people, it's given when you feel like you're ready."

He looks into my eyes, looking to see my reaction.

"I see.. Damn, that sounds scary." I chuckle awkwardly. He smiles at me reassuringly, "Don't feel pressured Y/n, you get it when you feel confident."

Confident.. do I feel confident? I really only went on one date with Jungkook.. But I will have my time. 

I look at Taehyung, everytime I look at him I think things will be okay, and im okay with that.

If Taehyung is here with me, I think ill be happy.
