I quickly rushed away from my parents argument, into my room.
My room was crowded with books and pencils and markers.
My bed was the only thing untouched by the mess.
My desk was no exception, as it was more covered then the floor.
I walked over to the desk and tried to make some room for me to work on, when I noticed a envelop, unopened and addressed to me.
I don't have any friends that would send me something like a letter, as they would have sent me an email or text message.
It's return address was scratched out with black marker, there was no way of telling who sent it or where it was sent from.
I slowly opened the envelope, afraid of what could have sent it.
The letter inside said "don't look behind you". Just out of shock, do you know what I did? I looked behind me.
It sat on my bed.
The thing that I saw looked human, but not at the same time.
It's long fingers, almost like claws, latched onto the bedside and started to clime down. It didn't have any teeth and it's whitened out eyes looked at me in curiosity.
Another one entered my room through the window by the door, it's blackish skin seemed to glisten in the moon light.
The one closest to me held out it's hand.
"Can you be our friends?"
