Hurt

Part 18

Mew slowly turned back and reached for the door knob, but suddenly Gulf called his name. 

"Boo," Gulf pushed Lisa and went to Mew. He grabbed Mew's arm and turned him around. He knows Mew witnessed what happened between him and Lisa. He can see Mew was hurt. He can see through his eyes. 

Gulf smiled at Mew, "Don't go na Boo. Please," Gulf held Mew's face, "Wait for me please. I need you by my side."

Mew stared at Gulf's face. Mew's heart was hurting, he feels like crying right now. He slowly nodded his head. 

Gulf took the plastic containing their foods from Mew, and entwined his other hand with Mew. He put the plastic on the dining table and pulled Mew to the bedroom. 

"Please wait Lisa," he said before he closed the bedroom door.

He hugged Mew, "Boo, wait for me here na. I will knock some sense into her first. Don't over think about this. We'll talk later okay?" Gulf kissed Mew all over his face to assure his boyfriend that he will always be by Mew's side. 

Mew just nodded his head before Gulf pulled away from their hug and went outside to Lisa. 

Mew made his way to the bed and sat at the edge of the bed. He heaved a heavy sigh. Why can't he be happy with Gulf? The tears began to leak from his eyes. He lay down, covered his face with arm, silently crying over his aching heart. The possibility for Gulf to leave him and go to Lisa is high, he knew how head over heels Gulf is to Lisa. Just thinking about it made him sobbed harder. He tried to hold his sobbing, he didn't want to disturb Gulf and Lisa. He turned his body, facing away from the door. 

He suddenly thought about Thong. His best friend looked so hurt. He plans to confess to Lisa today, but Lisa rejected him even before he could confess. Lisa met Thong today, she asked Thong what she should do, she said she might actually love Gulf. Thong was so heart broken, he thought Lisa was in love with him. From the way Lisa treated him and the way she responded to Thong's flirt, Thong was so sure that Lisa is in love with him. 

Mew heave a heavy sigh, he wants to eavesdrop on Gulf and Lisa conversation, but he chooses not to, he is so scared1. What if Gulf accepts Lisa's confession?

Gulf took a seat beside Lisa, "Now, lets talk."

Lisa looked at Gulf, "Gulfie, i don't know why but when i saw you and Mew act lovey dovey in front of me makes me jealous. I just can't see you being sweet to Mew. I felt so jealous. I know I'm too late to realise this, but I think I love you. I'm so stupid to not realise it before."

Gulf glared at his best friend," You're crazy Lisa. You don't love me. You love Thong. I understand your feeling, you just felt weird because I never act like that with anyone but you. That's why you felt like that, you don't love me Lisa. You're in love with Thong."

"But i feel so sad when you're with Mew."

Gulf sighed, "Maybe you just feel like that because I'm your only best friend, maybe when you see me with Mew, you think you will lose me as your best friend. Lisa, please, even if you said you love me, I'm sorry Lisa, I can't accept your love." 

Lisa looked sadly at Gulf," Gulfie.. What should I do? I told Thong that I love you."

Gulf hit Lisa's arm,"You're crazy! Can't you see Thong love you too? You better go to him now. Oh my Lisaaa.. You just make my Mew sad. You hurt his best friend and you hurt him by coming here, confessing to me, his boyfriend. Oh god Lisa, you better go now, my boyfriend needs me now."

"I'm sorry Gulf. Please apologise to Mew for me. I need to go and see my Thong now. Bye Gulfie. Sorry!" Lisa quickly went out from Gulf's condo to meet Thong. 

Gulf shook his head, "Crazy girl," mumbled Gulf before he stood and went to his bedroom, where Mew was waiting for him. He quietly opened the door, he saw Mew was lying on the bed, facing the walls. He lay beside Mew and encircled his arms around Mew. He kissed Mew's shoulder and snuggled closer to Mew.

"Boo, she's gone already."

Mew held Gulf's hand on his waist tightly, "How's it going baby?" he asked.

"I already knocked some sense into her. Don't worry na," Gulf pulled away a little bit, "Boo, turn around please."

Mew obeyed Gulf's request, he shifted to look at his baby.

Gulf smiled lovingly at his boyfriend, he could sense Mew's swollen eyes from crying. He kisses Mew's swollen eyes, his boyfriend really overthinking about the whole thing.

" Boo, stop overthinking na. I won't leave you."

Mew stared at Gulf for a while, he sat up. Gulf mimicked his boyfriend's action. They sat facing each other. Mew held Gulf's hand, "Baby, are you sure?"

"About what Boo?"

"About us na. Are you sure about us?"

Gulf smiled, he cupped Mew's face, "I'm very sure na Boo."

"You don't love Lisa? Don't you want to be with her baby? This is the right time for you."

"No, Boo. I don't love her. I don't want to be with her. I want to stay with you. Why are you asking like this Mew?"

"Because I just want you to be happy. Even if it will hurt me, as long as you're happy then I'm willing to do anything for you baby."

*I make up my mind last night, i abandoned my works to write this fic. I'm sorry for making all of you waiting. Thank you for the encouragement, pray for me that they will not terminate my contracts

Believe in Gulf na 😉, he wont leave Mew that easily. Now the problem is Mew, he always feel insecure. 🤔🤔🤔 Wait for the next chapter 😁

Have all of you watch TTTS ep7?  I start to feel the storyline again. The first few ep quite slow but still okay with me although i'm almost give up, but the story start to develop in each ep. Last night was the great one 👍*
