It's been a long long time (Pain and Pleasure Sequel)

A New Begining.

Bucky's eyes flutter awake as his eyes trail over your sleeping form beside him. The noise of footsteps outside your shared bedroom alert him that someone who shouldn't be there is indeed there, he checks the clock beside him reading it as 6:30am. Too early for this. He closes his eyes once he hears the door opening, he lays there ready to pounce when the intruder is close enough.

The foot steps near the bed and a smile tugs at his lips he opens one eye waiting so patiently. Then before he could react a small body jumps on top of him.

"Rawrrrr!" He chuckles and lifts the small person up in the air then sits them on his stomach. "Daddyyyy!"

"Good morning my little princess." He smiles down at his daughter. A lot had happened within the three years of being away from saving the world. Bucky had married you a year after being let out from Wakanda he wanted to be sure that the winter soldier was never coming back and a year was a long enough wait and not long after that both of you found out you were pregnant. Bucky was very much scared at first but when little Rebecca was born all that fear went out the window.

"Good morning you two." You smile and give your husband a kiss on the cheek, Rebecca squeezed her way between the two of you and made herself comfortable. You cuddled her close to you as Bucky pulled you both closer, the two of you were quick to fall back asleep except Bucky he didn't fancy going back to sleep he just laid awake happily watching the two people he cared most about sleep without a care in the world. Life had been good to him he was gifted with a loving wife, an amazing daughter and he was due to go back to being an Avenger too you were as well but you said you wouldn't take part in dangerous missions that involved you being away from Rebecca for too long but if it did Pepper offered to watch over Rebecca since her and Morgan had grown close too. The man even cut his hair, he felt more like himself than ever before and having no one coming after him was a huge plus.

Bucky never thought that he would be this happy, he had done so much bad throughout his life yet he had been blessed with the two of you regardless of his actions. He was still cautious when he was in public with the both of you or one of you, he was never gonna let you both out his sight or let anything happen to you.

The alarm had gone off, waking all three of you up today was the day you all had to go to the compound you always did on Mondays. You stretched and gave a kiss to Rebecca's head as she whined, you laughed a little she was much like you, leaning over her gently you stroke Bucky's face to wake him up and just groaned and turned over on his side. Maybe she's more like her father instead, rolling your eyes you head to the bathroom to run a small bath for you and Becca with bubbles since she found them so interesting. Once you had done that you walk down to the kitchen to make you and Bucky some coffee, you sighed. You loved days like this you always have everything was like a dream.

"Good morning, Sugar." You turn to seek Bucky holding a very sleepy Becca you walk up to him and press a kiss to his lips.

"Good morning." His arm wraps around your waist a small giggle erupts from Becca.

"Eww." She hides her face in Bucky's neck. She really was the most precious girl in the world, you couldn't be more happier. You break away from Bucky's embrace and pour the coffee into a mug which Bucky thanks you for as he takes it, you lift Becca out of Bucky's arms she wraps her little arms and legs around you like a koalas.

"I'm gonna give this little monster a bath and get her ready then you can do the same." He gently pulls you closer before you could get too far, his head rests against yours.

"You know we could just let her play for a little while and we could shower together first." His tone was soft and suggestive causing you to smile.

"James Buchanan Barnes, you sweet talker you are." You blush. "As much as I would love to but I'll have to kindly refuse, I'm not leaving this one on her own if she's as mischievous as you." You wink at him and kiss him on the cheek, he lets you go.

"I love you." He calls as you walk out the room, you look back at him and say it back.

Bucky had finished getting dressed and walking into his daughters room and found you humming a tune while swaying Becca in your arms. This is truly what heaven was, leaning against the door watching you sway to your own voice. Becca almost looks like she'll fall asleep again until her eyes spot Bucky and she lights up.

"Mommy! Daddy's watching!" She giggles and you turn around and smile at your husband. She reaches out for Bucky and you hand her over, Becca was a daddy's girl but that didn't mean that she loved you any less she spends the most time with you and can't stand to be away from either of you for too long.

"My two best girls." He kisses yours and Becca's head.

"Steve's gonna kill you for stealing his catchphrase." You smirk.

"I'd like to see him try." Bucky chuckles, the three of you head out to the car then Bucky put Rebecca into her car seat. He watched as you headed for the driver seat. "I can drive if you like?" He offered shutting the car door and making his way round to you.

"You sure? You drove last time."

"I'm more than happy to drive." You handed him the keys and went around to the passenger side. Bucky started the car and began the drive to the compound.
