Chapter 8

You wake up still in your swim suit and take a shower. You get dressed and head down to breakfast. Pietro is there. "Hi." You say to him. "I gotta go train." He says and speeds off. Again. You put your head in your hands. You feel a hand on your back so you look up, it is Wanda. "Hey." She says softly. "Hi. I am guessing you saw how your brother is avoiding me." "Why is he avoiding you. I could read his mind but this is more fun." "He nearly kisses me then ran away last night and now it appears he is ignoring me." "You like my brother don't you?" "Yes but I think he has made it clear he doesn't feel the same." "He does. He just doesn't know how to express it." "Are you sure?" "Yeah I read his mind, and it is obvious. Hey why don't we have a girls day today, just you and me?" "Yeah I would like that." "Guys, I am having a party next weekend. So all be there." "Why are you having a party?" You ask "Because I am Tony Stark." He answers "Fair enough. We can get our dresses when we go out if you want?" You ask Wanda.
(Your dress is up top. You can change the colour of you want)Over the next week you and Wanda have become best friends and you don't really talk to people at school because of the 'incident'. And it is now the day of Tony's party. Pietro has been ignoring you all week and you are starting to get upset. "Shall we?" Wanda asks as you are about to walk into the party. "We shall." You reply when you go in you see Peter and head over to him with Wanda. You keep glancing at Pietro who is over in the corner with some girls. You feel a twang in your heart to see him with a girl that isn't you. "You should go talk to him." Wanda suggests as he gets up to get a drink from the bar. You nod and head over taking a deep breath. "Hi. Have I done something wrong because you seem to be ignoring me." "I am not ignoring you I am just figuring stuff out." "What are you figuring out because maybe I can help. Look I like you Pietro. A lot. But I feel like you think the exact same thing as the rest of the school. So please just tell me how you feel because I don't know if I can last any longer not knowing." "Look I don't know how I feel. It is hard for me because I like you but I don't know if I want to be with you at the moment because you have been acting different." "I have been acting different because I have never liked someone before. I don't know what to do how to act. I am not a normal teenage girl I don't have crushes the last proper boyfriend I had didn't end well. I had dated him for 3 months, so I thought I could trust him. I brought him to the tower and he tried to date my sister. I am sorry if I don't know how to act." You say getting a little bit annoyed. "You are keeping secrets from me just tell me what you are hiding from me." "Look. Only me, my sister, Clint and Nick know about that stuff and I'd like to keep it that way so please please don't go down there. I would rather that stay in the past." You go to walk off back to Wanda but you see Clint sitting alone in the corner so you go to say hi to him. "Hey what you doing on your own?" You ask sitting next to him. "Nothing just thinking. Lilia and Cooper miss there Auntie (Y/N) you know. You should come down next week as it's the holidays now." "Yeah I'd love that. I miss them too." "I was going to invite Road runner and his sister as well because Laura wants to meet the boy she named her child after." "Umm ok cool." "What's up with you and Maximoff anyway?" "I like him and he says he likes me but 'can't be with me at the moment' so I don't know. He also wants me to tell him my secrets because he doesn't like secrets. But I'm just not ready to tell him, or the team about certain stuff yet." You say resting your head on his shoulder "I know and me and Nat aren't going to force you to tell anyone anything." He says rubbing your arm.
Over with Pietro
Pietro really regrets what he said to you. But truth is he thinks he is not good enough and he respects that you don't want to tell him your secrets he just got angry with himself and blamed you. Wanda walks over to Pietro "Why would you do that to (Y/N)!" She yells. "She really likes you and is already going through a hard time at school and you are not helping." "I'm sorry I just am not good enough for her." "So you go and break her heart. Look you may date a lot of girls but she doesn't date a lot of guys because all they are interested in is her face not who she is on the inside. And you may not believe it but she is very self conscious and now the whole school is calling her ugly. I bet you haven't once thought about how she might feel. You ignore her for a week then when she try's to talk to you, you just go and ask her to tell you her secrets. That is not cool Pietro!" She says before storming off.
