I awoke in my cabin, which was in the middle of the woods. Chewy, my dog was sleeping next to my cot, I heard her light snores and I got out of my rickety bed. Tying my hair into a high ponytail, I picked up my diamond axe, and left the comfort of my own home.

The chilling wind went through my hair as I went to cut down some trees, trying to get wood to expand my tiny log cabin. After I got about 64 log pieces, I went back. Chewy wagging her tail as I walked through the door, my next mission of the day. Food.

I got the necessary equipment and walked back into the blistering cold, Chewy next to me. Around these times we always go hunting, it seems like the best time to do so. Leaving the taiga, I went towards a plains. Pigs and sheep littered the area and in 10 minutes, No one, but me and my fragile dog, stood on that land.

I fed my dog some pork chops and scratched behind her ear. I wanted an adventure, I never left the surrounding area just to explore, I was too afraid. But a boost of confidence struck and now was my time.

Chewy barked up at me as I stopped petting the small creature. I picked her up in my arms and began walking in the oposite direction of my home, walking on new land.

Twigs and branches broke as I stepped on them, birds were tweeting and singing songs as I walked past all the oak trees. I heard a noise and immediately jolted towards it. This planet housed many hostile mobs, like zombies and alive skeletons. They normally only come out in the dark, so this was odd.

I heard footsteps and hid behind a tree, Chewy looked up at me from my arms, whimpering slightly. The sound came closer and closer, getting louder and louder with each step.

I got my sword out, ready to fight if I had to. My pa taught me how to fight when I was 8, so I knew all the techniques, I got into a readying position, putting my netherite sword in front of my body. Ready to swing at any given moment.

The footsteps behind me stopped, the thing was right behind the tree. My heart starts beating fast. But the footsteps continue, wrapping around the tree.

I hyped myself up, telling myself that I can do this. I turn my face to meet his, he had a white mask with a smiley face on that blocked my view. I lowered my weapon, holding Chewy close. He wasn't wearing any armour, but it's like hes been here for years.

His gaze lingered, I felt his eyes pierce my inner core. I fully hide my weapon, he didnt seem as a threat.

"Hello" He managed to say, the mask still staring "I havent seen you in these parts before"

He wore a green hoodie with black finger less gloves. The hood was draped over his head. He lent against a tree, awaiting for my answer.

"Hi. I'm Y/N.. I live in a cabin a bit from here" I never normally socialize, so I was a bit nervous.

"Mhm.." He looked over to a clearing of the trees, I followed his gaze and managed to notice a brick like structure in the middle of a lake.

"I should get going back to my home," I said, turning my heels "If we meet again I guess" I added with a lopsided smile. I darted back to where I came, that boy.. it's like I've know him for ages..

Chewy was getting restless, moving around in my arms more, wanting to get down on the ground. Once we were a safe way from that boy, I placed her down. She sniffed her surroundings and looked happy.

I was back at the cabin, resting in my cot. I have a feeling I will meet that boy again, soon or maybe later. My eyes began to get heavy as I went into a peaceful slumber, Chewy curled up near my feet.

The next day was the same as yesterday, I went to get some logs, went hunting for some more food. I fished for an hour, the whole time, that boy- Dream? He was in my mind, my curiosity got the better of me. I brought Chewy back towards my base. Sitting her down, giving her food in her bowl and set off back where I met him.

I brought a bag of potions with me just in case something bad happened. I saw the clearing again, and the brick building, the water surrounding it. I drank my invisibility potion, it only lasted about 10 minutes. The perfect time to glance around.

It tasted sour, the seaweed being a huge factor, I looked down at my hands to see the potion working and it was. My hands started to fade until all my body was gone.

I took my time walking into the building, I saw multiple paths lead off of it. I followed one that led towards a farm, it was nice and quaint.

5 minutes pass and I've seen all of it, it's a nice place. I was just walking down a path when I saw a man with cloud goggles, standing talking to someone with a white bandana. I quickly hide, listening to their conversation.

"Have you talked to Dream yet?" The bandana guy asked the one with goggles. Dream?

"Yeah, he kept talking about a girl he met in the forest" Goggles man said, rolling his eyes and leaning against some rocks.

"He met a girl in the forest? George- That means theres other people except us and- the others." He voice turned raspy at the end of the sentence, the goggles guy is called George?

"Right. Maybe she could join our side in the war.." George muttered. "Sapnap, do you know where Dream is?" He was now standing straight looking at supposably Sapnap

"Uh. I think hes in the base" He explained, I should probably leave. I dont know how long I have left.

I ran back down the path, going to the brick building and turning towards the forest. Then I saw him, he was writing in a book, sitting next to a tree. His sword layed beside him, a pen in his hand, scribbling on the pages.

I slowly walk past him, trying not to show my whereabouts, when I'm behind the tree. I take a deep breath and step another step. A sound from under my shoe could be heard, a stupid twig was laying across the floor, broken at where I stepped.

I turned to see the boy staring at my direction, I ran behind a tree and drank a remedy, my body was in sight again as I came from around the tree. My eyes locking with his mask.

A silence washed over the forest as we looked at each other, I walked towards him. Slowly, still cautious of him. When I realised he wasnt going to hurt me, I sat next to him.

"We meet again I see" He said, averting his gaize back to his book.

"It doesnt help that I was foraging" I lied, looking over at what hes writing.

He closed the book, putting it next to him in the green long grass. I pressed my back against the same tree as him.

"How far out do you live?" He asked, breaking the comfortable silence. His face moved over to look at me.

"A couple of miles, around 15 maybe" I said, wavering my hand, I put my head on the trunk of the tree. The leaves falling down and the sun spearing through them.

"Where do you live over there?" I asked back, closing my eyes and relaxed, I felt safe around him.

"Oh- I have a base in the side of a cliff," He pointed towards the brick building "That's my old home" He looked happy talking about it.

"Do you live with anyone?" I continued to ask questions, he was very mysterious

"Mm.. I personally live by myself, but around I have some friends." He happily answered the questions

"Um.. What's your name?" I asked, "You know mine already-"

"Dream, my names Dream." He replied, looking of into the distance.
