Time continued on. It wasn't the end of the world. It was just the end of hers.
Yet, he barged in and forced her to fix it like it was his job to.

During English and lunch, Abby had figured out three of Edward's siblings: a gorgeous blonde, a handsome bulky brunette, and a beautiful petite, spiky haired brunette. She wondered if that was all. She had figured out that the bulk-man and the blonde were a couple, never leaving each other's side but isn't that incest? Oh wait, she heard a couple of girls talking about how they're all adopted. A strange bunch they were - they all looked the same but weren't related? Odd.
Abby slowly made her way to lunch and decided she'd spend her lunch and her free period after lunch in the library but first, she wanted some Vitamin water. She was supposed to have Biology II after lunch but Mr. Molina was still away so his first day would be tomorrow. Abby dreaded Biology - dreaded most sciences actually.
She walked into the lunchroom without drawing much attention from her classmates because they were all focused on the newbies of her school, thank God. She could do without the looks.
"Oh, my god, Abby!" Oh no, here comes Queen Bee Lauren. Abby closed her eyes in annoyance before opening them and turning around to face the pretty brunette who had newly made blonde highlights in her hair.
Her sickle sweet voice dripped with pity as she gripped tightly onto Abby's shoulders, "I'm so sorry for your loss! I tried calling you over the summer, but I guess you never got them." Oh, I got them, Abby thought to herself. Suddenly, Lauren grasped her in a bear hug whispering, "It's all gonna' be okay."
Abby patted her back, twice, before muttering out a, "Thanks,"
Lauren pulled away and feigned a sad look, "Are you gonna' come sit with us for lunch today?"
Shit. "Um," Abby drawled, "I can't -"
"She promised me she'd save me a seat." Oh my, god, could this get any worse? Did he have to show up? Really? Abby's head was going to explode when she swiveled around and saw Edward Cullen interrupting Lauren.
"Um," Abby drawled out, once again, but this time with Lauren, who looked at Edward in awe.
Lauren cleared her throat and said, with a flirty smile intact, "Are you sure you don't wanna' bring Abby and join us?"
"I'm sure, thank you for the offer." Edward flashed her that same crooked smile that Abby saw him wear in the morning. It blew her away, again. This time, however, Abby focused on his eyes; his topaz eyes that seemed almost surreal.
"Oh." Lauren mumbled, sounding defeated, "Okay, I'll catch up with you later Abby." The shorter brunette gave Lauren a two-finger salute wave and Lauren smiled at her before leaving to her table with Jessica and the rest of her friends (who were actually her friends and not Lauren, who had actually despised Abby since third grade).
Abby then turned to the lovely human being and arched an eyebrow, "I don't recall promising you a seat."
"I got you out of that situation." Edward shot back, almost cockily.
