It was a quiet afternoon at Konoha. The Hokage, Minato Namikaze, sat at his desk wasting away at the pile of paperwork on his desk. The Anbu in the vents, with sharp eyes, had a clear view of him.
You would assume that the Anbu were serious all the time and that was somewhat true, but usually, they were laid back inside the village. Of course, they were serious if the situation called for it, but currently, the ones on guard duty were sitting in a line playing a game of cards.
To the untrained eye, they weren't paying attention. Messing around like schoolchildren during a lecture.
However, they were all alert and on guard. Their rigid posture, the flickering of their eyes, the twitching in their hand, even the way they were sitting. Every little thing screaming dangerous and ready to defend.
Minato and the Anbu suddenly perked up, sensing three chakra signatures coming towards the office at high speeds.
3 Anbu appeared before the Hokage, all of them kneeling on one leg. The captain of the team was in the front while the other 2 were behind him in a triangle formation.
The captain had brown hair and his calculating, hazel eyes could be seen through his mask.
To his left was someone with long dark silver hair and piercing golden eyes that seemed to see through you.
To his right, someone with black hair and emerald green eyes that were serious yet soft.
"Crane, Bear, Wolf, report."
Crane, the captain of this team, began to speak.
"The targets were assassinated without much struggle and there is nothing that would lead the killings to us. They should all be reported as MIA once the Leaders of the Organization find out they've been gone."
"Good. Your pay will be sent to you tomorrow. You may go rest for a few days. Your next mission will be discussed after your break."
"Affirmative, Hokage-sama." The Anbu disappeared and a small pile of leaves was left in their place.
"They should really start using the door," Minato sighed, turning to look at the mysteriously new pile of paper. "HOW THE HELL IS THERE MORE PAPERWORK?"
The Anbu in the vents silently snickered and continued their duties.

Location: Anbu Headquarters Men's Changing Room
A/N: You guys can choose what they wear! They can also just be wearing Jōnin attire as their casual wear.
"Hey Crane where should we go eat this time?" Wolf asked while putting on his shirt.
"Akito you can call me by my name. We're not on a mission right now." Crane replied. He was already done changing.
"Right. I forgot. So what's your name again?"
Crane sweatdropped at his unreliable memory.
"You can use my nickname Soka. No need to use honorifics. Makes me sound old and I'm not much older than you."
"Wait you are?" Akito asked as Soka facepalmed. The pair walked out of the room to meet up with Bear.
"I'm 18, Akito."
"Oh." Akito blinked. "Well anyway, should we get some Dango? Maybe we can get some soba or maybe ramen from that ramen stand!"
"We'll figure that out once we meet up with Akari. Maybe she has some ideas."
"She doesn't seem like the type to care though. She'd probably say something like 'it doesn't matter as long as it's food' in a gloomy voice or something." Akito replied, opening the door.
"I don't care but I could go for some barbeque," Bear said in a bored tone.
Akito and Soka freeze at Akari's voice. Akito laughs nervously, seeing her eye twitch in annoyance.
"Y-you okay with that Soka?" Akito asked as they made their way to the barbeque restaurant.
"Of course. But who's paying?" Akito and Akari immediately looked at their Captain. He sighs and nods. "Fine but next time the newbie's paying."
"Yeah sure- WAIT, WHAT? WHY ME? WHY NOT HER?" Akito yelled, frantically pointing at Akari to point attention to their teammate.
"I saved you from falling to your death remember? You know, after you somehow managed to slip off the cliff even though you can walk on walls!" Akari replied with an eye roll.
"It wasn't my fault that I tripped on the tree root as we made our way down!"

A boy stood in front of the memorial stone, staring at the names of the fallen. He was in a daze, thinking of memories and of course, regrets. The sun had set and let a ray of moonlight barely graze the clouds. He could hear footsteps walking toward him. He made no move to look at them but he knew who it was.
"Kakashi, it's getting late. We need to go home. Have you had dinner yet?"
Kakashi turned around to face his sister.
"I haven't eaten yet. I would cook but I might just burn the house down."
Akari chuckled, ruffling his hair as he walked toward her.
"Yeah right." The two siblings made their way home as the stars began to rise and the moon shined through the clouds.
A/N: So what'd you guys think of the reboot of Kakashi's older sister? Is it better? Worse? Let me know and I'll see what I can do! If you guys have any constructive criticism feel free to leave a comment. Thank you for reading!
