"Hey, Zoey! Over here!" I heard Michael call out,"Got one!" I got up from my position and ran towards him.

It's been a week now, since the incident happened. My parents had called me and were asking questions, but Raveness grabbed my phone and threw it into the river. She said that we couldn't have trackers.

They took me in into their resistence. Poeple that resist against Jordan and want to kill him for many reasons. I got accepted and am now part of their group. We live in the wilderness and under ground. Since half of these people are wanted, we have to lay low. We have to hunt for our food because everyone knows how we look like and we can't take any chances of going into the city.

As I got closer to Michael, I notice a dead deer, standing right beside him. He was sitting on a rock, cleaning the blood  from his sword.

His dark blonde hair swaying in the wind. His black combat boots digging into the dirt. His blue eyes focused on cleaning his sword.

I stare at the cargo.

"You'll get used to the stench after awhile. Don't worry." I look up and notice him staring at me.

"It's not that, I already got used to it. It's just that-never mind." I sit down on the rock beside his and lean against the tree, head looking at the clear sky.

It was July, 24. The day of my sister's birthday. I was making her present, when my mother received the news that Jordan had killed her. Mother and father were divested and so was I.

April would always tell me secrets and email me and even gave me advice. there was no secret that we kept from each other.

"Then, what's the matter?" Michael has never been so nosy before, so that question surprised me. He would just let it be, when I would tell him it was nothing or stop at mid sentence. I look at him, arms crossed, puzzled.

"Why do you even care all of a sudden?" I ask.

"You look more depressed than usual. Come on, just tell me. I won't laugh or make fun of it." he always makes a joke about everything, but he always makes me laugh.

I give him a warm smile and straighten up,"It's just that today is my sister's birthday."

"Okay, well you can send her an email. But then we'd have to move base again." thats right I never told him that Jordan killed April and that she was my only sister.

"Can't"

"Forgot her email address or yours?"

"Yeah and how am I suppose to send her a message from down here?" then he got what that ment. He leaned in and put his arm on my shoulder.

Our eyes met and I knew that he couldn't get the words out, but I knew that he was sorry.

"We should get this deer back to Raveness." I say, my voice getting cracked up. I was trying to change the subject before it got more awkward.

I stood and went to the cargo. Michael followed. We each grabbed an end and went to base, an underground room, where we plan and chill. It's basically our home away from home.

The way there was silent, but at least I got time to think....

                                      Raveness POV

Those little bitches are already late and I already want to get the hell out'ta here. I already want to kill Jordan and once more that chick is keeping me impatient.

I paced back and forth, my breathing getting deeper as I grow much more impatient. Lloyd sat on the little chair, feet up and polishing his sword.

"I don't even know why we brought that girl along!" I growl.

"Maybe your mad because she looks so much like April and-"

"Lloyd shut up!" I flare my eyes, and glare at him. Sometimes that chick can really push my buttons.

We had to keep moving if we wanted to get to Jordan in time. This was going to be the only week Claire would be away in some war, so I needed to get to Jordan before she came back. I'm not saying I'm scared of her, just that I want her to come back with no husband and sob over it. I can definitely take down his 8 year old daughter-Helena

I want Helena  to see me kill her father and be defend-less. I mean, how much trouble can an 8 year old cause right?

Then, as I was going to take a seat, screams filled the outside silence. I heard clanks and bangs. I grabbed my dagger and ran outside, Lloyd behind.

Then, when I entered the outside world, my eyes filled with excitment. Military people ran here and there, trying to get as many resistant people as they could. Blood spurred out everywhere. Fights broke out all around me, people from both sides layed dead all around.

I knew exactly who was leader of this military team that had come to take us in. I grinned wide as I saw the general commanding one of her people. I gripped my dagger tightly and ran towards her.

Claire's head shot up and stared at me. She got off the rock and readied her stance.

I aimed my dagger at her, but she blocked it with her long double edged sword. I stared at her face and grinned, I've been waiting for this fight but I didn't expect it to be today.

"Why are you-"she grunted as I sliced her arm,but she dodged,"-doin this? If we took you in and this is how you treat-"this time I created a big gash on her arm,"-me?" she winced in pain and came at me.

I blocked her move with my dagger. Our swords collided and I spun her sword, then in seconds she was defenceless. I set my dagger on her throat and dug in deep, I grinned. She gagged, and walked backwards.

Then, from the corner of my eye I saw her getting ready to throw a hidden blade at me. I chuckled.

I kicked her arm and wrapped my legs around her waist, arms on her side. I held on tight, my arm around her neck, and my dagger in her throat. My face almost touched hers.

Claire was defenceless.

I put my forehead on hers and whispered,"Game Over."
