A new Start (COTE Fanfic)

Another Challenge

When my name was stated as the winner of the exam all the students were surprised. Well, It's nothing unexpected. What happened today is just the beginning.

As the exam ended and everything went back as it used to. Everyone in Class 2D was still confused on how I scored the highest in math and how i got first place. I was bombarded with questions. I was going to answer them but Horikita decided to step in.

"didn't I tell you already, since the beginning Ayanokouji-kun has been capable of doing these unexpected things"

"but that doesn't explain everything Horikita-san"

Keisei asked in confusion

"why didn't he show it from the start?when we were still first years"

Horikita sighed

"I told you that it was all part of my plan"

Everyone wasn't convinced by that explanation. Some were still in doubt. So I decided to tell them the truth. I walked up to the front and told everyone to listen.

"If you badly want to know the truth, please lend me your ears"

"I'll tell you everything from the start"

I started explaining everything from the White Room to the reason why I didn't show my true capabilities. Some were still not convinced but others seemed to believe me. Even Horikita was cofused because she didn't know about the White Room.

"what is this white room you're talking about?"

Horikita asked me

"I already explained it in the front of the class, weren't you listening?"

"I did, but I still can't process the information"

"Just keep it that way, It'll be hard for you if keep thinking about it."

I ended our conversation with that and walked out of the room.

After I came out I decided to go back to dorm, but I encountered Ichinose on my way back.

"hey, Ayanokouji-kun"

"uhm, do you need something from me?"

"no no, I just wanted to ask some questions"

I was curious so I decided to listen

"what is it?"

"Is it ok? I think its a bit personal"

"yeah"

"ok here goes, what is the White Room?"

I was surprised from her question

"where did you hear that?"

"I heard it from the acting director in the uninhabited island exam"

"..ah"

I explained everything to her and she seemed to understand the situation. I don't know she was truly convinced by that.

....

I arrived at the dorm, It felt weird but there was a feeling of relief. I went laid down on my bed and started to sleep.

Tommorow morning, I woke up early, so i decided to do my exercise routine. After that I took a shower and prepared to go to school.

I was walking on my way to school and I ran into Sakayanagi. I was planning to ignore her but she approached me.

"Good morning, Ayanokouji-kun"

"Good morning"

"So you decided to reveal your identity and capabilities, why?"

"Maybe I was getting bored in hiding"

"fufu.."

she laughed lightly.

Did she find it funny?I guess so.

After that we walked together to school.

I walked in the room, I was the first one to arrive.

I sat down on my chair and looked outside the window. A few minutes went by and the room was beginning to be filled by students.

The class started and ended. But I noticed something weird. Chaebashira-sensei was still in front and hasn't left. She started talking.

"next friday there will be an exam"

"one after another"

Ike interrupted

"Don't talk when someone is still speaking"

Chaebashira-sensei was pissed

"As I said there will be an exam, make sure to attain high marks if you don't want to get expelled, that's all"

So that's why it felt weird huh. It was too late before they reailized. Another exam was coming.
