A new Start (COTE Fanfic)

A Pretty Normal Day

Saturday morning, I prepared for the training. After the preparation I went to the school gymnasium.

"I thought I was too early, maybe I was wrong"

I arrived and saw some of our classmates already waiting.

A moment later they all arrived.

"Now that everyone is here, let's start the competition. Make sure to give it your best so you could be chosen to be the one to compete in the sports festival"

After that was said the competition has began. I was chosen in chess and Sudou, Yousuke, Horikita, Koenji and I were chosen in the Relay Race. Its a miracle that Koenji participated. Not too long every activities now has a participant.

"Now that we've chosen, let's start the real training"

Everyone began to train as hard as they can to improve their skills. After a few hours, tur intense training ended. They all went back to dorm, the only ones who were left were me and Horikita.

"So your wish has been granted, Ayanokouji-kun"

"What wish?"

"To participate in chess and the relay race"

"Of course, I gave it my all just to be chosen"

"You're pretty confident with your skill"

"I guess I am"

"Then you better not lose to Nagumo-senpai"

"That's the plan after all"

After that short talk we went back to the dorms.

I arrived at the dorm and went to my room. I laid down on the bed feeling exhausted.

"Ah, I'm beat"

I fell asleep and woke up early in the morning to check the time on my phone. I guess there's no training today.

I went to Keyaki Mall to for some fresh air but ran into Ryuuen.

"Oi Ayanokouji"

"Ryuuen?"

"What a coincidence, So what's your plan for the sports festival"

"I haven't told it to Horikita yet, but I'm participating in all activities"

"Kuku, Don't take all the glory you monster"

"I can't guarantee that I will win each and every activity though. But I plan to come out on top"

"I'll be looking forward to it"

"Yeah, sure. But don't expect that I'll go easy on you or to any other classes"

"I'll beat you this time for sure"

"Don't disappoint me Ryuuen"

Without saying a word, Ryuuen turned his back and started walking away.

After running into Ryuuen, I went to a cafe. And then another coincidence happened.

"Good Morning Ayanokouji-kun"

It was Sakayanagi

"Good morning"

"Are you alone today?"

"Yeah"

"Mind if I join you?"

"Sure, Is there something that you want from me?"

"No no. I just saw you here and decided to join you"

"Is that so?"

"Yes"

"Well if it's just that, its ok"

"By the way, how do you plan getting Tsukishiro out?"

"I already have a plan for that but it's not yet complete"

"I'd like to know what this plan of yours is"

"I can't tell it to you now, but I'll let you know if it's already completed"

"Ok, I'll look forward to that"

"Yeah sure"

After that, we ordered some food and ate.

"What will you do now, Ayanokouji-kun?"

"Go back to the dorms I guess, I just went out to get some fresh air"

"Is that so, let's go back then"

We went back to the dorm and the day ended.
