Grace's POV
It was Friday after school and I was exhausted. I was laying on my couch with my school uniform and my Clifford hoodie on, scrolling through Twitter and humming "Disconnected". It was my favorite song. I was chuckling at one of Luke's tweets when I head the doorbell ring. My mom was cooking, my stepdad was at work, and my younger sister was focused on playing with her dolls. That meant I had to get up and answer the door. I got up and shuffled down the hall. I assumed it was my best friend Tia, who I've known since we were little and also lives two houses away from me. The doorbell rang again. "Jesus Christ Tia I'm com-" I opened the door and saw four Aussies I thought I would never see standing right in front of me. Holy shit I thought to myself."Hey don't swear!" Ashton said, his dad instincts obviously kicking in. I said that out loud? I thought to myself again.
"Yep" Michael replied. I felt my cheeks immediately heat up.
Calum's POV
After ringing the doorbell a few times, I was getting a little worried. Our van broke down and the nearest gas station's pumps weren't even there. Finally, a blonde girl opened the door saying something about someone named Tia. She stopped mid-sentence as she saw us and her hazel eyes widened. I looked down at what she was wearing. Combat boots, black skinny jeans and a hoodie with "Clifford" printed on the front with the number 95. Aw man it's a fan I thought to myself. I love the fans and they're the reason we're famous and successful, but sometimes they can be overbearing at times."Holy shit" she then says. I had to admit, she was very pretty.
"Hey don't swear!" Ashton suddenly says.
"I said that out loud?" She asks, probably not wanting to say that out loud either.
"Yep" Michael says, popping the 'p'. Her cheeks then become a deep shade of red.
"Soo... not to be rude or anything but why are you guys here..?" She tried to ask smoothly. Her voice was shaking and I could tell she was trying not to flip out. It was cute.
"Uh our van broke down and we need help repairing it." I explained.
"Sure, but why don't you come in first?" We hesitated at first but then walked in.
We walked down a long hall, passing a living room,a dining room and a set of stairs.
"Hold on one second" she told us, holding us back from going into the next room which I assumed was a living room and a kitchen because I could hear a tv and could smell food cooking. We stood there awkwardly trying not to listen to the conversation her and her mom - at least I thought it was her mom - were saying. "5sos... kidding me... van broke down..." was all I heard. Then the blonde and an older version of her but with brown hair came out. The girl introduced then woman to us. It was her mom, and her name was Sophia. Sophia explained to us that her husband would be home from work soon and would help us with our van and that we were welcome to stay.
"Oh hey, you never told us your name!" I smiled at the girl.
"Oh, sorry, my name is Grace." She replied, her cheeks turning a deep shade of red again.
"Grace, don't be rude to our guests, why don't you show them the rest of the house while I cook?" Sophia tells Grace, and then they were talking with their eyes which was kind of awkward because we were just standing there. Anyways, Grace led us upstairs and showed us all if the rooms except for the one near the end of the hall.
"That's my room at the end but it's super embarrassing and you guys wouldn't like it." She said quickly, blowing a strand of hair out of her face.
"Aw come on, I'm sure it's fine" Ashton reassured her.
"No it's okay, it's really bad." She says, blushing again. Damn she blushes all the time.
"Come on show us!" Michael pleaded and she rolled her eyes playfully and gave in. We all followed her, with Luke in the back. I don't know what's up with him, he's been quiet this whole time. We walked to the door and she opened it slowly. She covered her face with her hands, obviously embarrassed.
I scanned the room. the walls were green and purple with polka dots but you could barely see the walls with all of the 5sos posters an random pieces paper taped to the wall. the boys walked in looking around in awe. I looked closer at the papers. They were all sorts of lyrics written down. Some of them were from us and some from lots if bands I liked. The other boys noticed and we all huddled around each other and read the lyrics. After we were done, everybody sat in awkward silence.
"So now that you've seen my horrible room, what do we do now?" Grace asked.
"I know we can play a game!" Luke piped up. We all looked back at him with startled look on our faces. He finally said something.
"Um, what game?" Ashton asked. Why was everybody being weird? We just scored help on our van and the guys looked like they've never seen a fan in their life. Or have ever seen a girl.
"Let's play 20 questions!"
