The dark sometimes can be scary, especially because it comes in all shapes and sizes. The dark can be a monster under your bed or a mean friend and it might even take the shape of betrayal and loss. However, the worst shape it can take on is your own mind. Like a parasite it uses your mind to grow, until it has taken complete control over you. The mind controls the body, it sends impulses to all your limbs. Therefore when the darkness takes over you mind, it makes you feel numb and empty inside, yet simultaneosly it weighs so much. There is plenty of room for all embarrassing moments and painful memories - it carries the weight of regrets and endlessly doubting yourself. The darkness is like a black hole: an endless space for all your mistakes.
