Its Just Mark...

looks like were going to a wedding

Lacy's POV

A few weeks Later I moved into Marks apartment and he went off to california, Almost every night we Skyped. Either it was Mark showing me Apartments or just us talking at his hotel either way I didn't mind I was talking to him so I was happy.

"So babe I think this is the one.....Dont you?" He said fnailly done showing me around one of the many contestants in the aparment hunt.

"Yeah Mark I think its great! " I smiled brightly, the apartment was great! it was huge and roomy the stairs where spiral which I loved the most about the place. I was beginging to be really happy about my relationship with Mark and if moving to LA was the next step then I was ready for it.

About two days later I got a package in the mail it was from my sister sarah in the box was a beautiful teal dress two plane tickets and a gold envlope. I opened it to see a card with pictures of Sarah and her best friend Tod they had started dating two years before I left. There was a letter on the back and it read:

Dear mini sis,

it finally happened Tod perposed! and so I'm sending you this stuff so you can come home and be apart of our wedding!! everyone here misses you! including mom! so get your shy butt down here back in Georgia! there is a plane ticket for you and one of your Cincinnati friends of yours! oh! and there is one more thing! you're gonna be my maid of honor!! Love, Sarah

I smiled brightly at the letter and sighed, I decited I should try on the dress and get a feel for it so I went into our room and slipped it on putting on some heels. I looked at myself in the mirror when suddenlly the front door opened

"Lacy!! I'm home!!" I smiled brightly and ran in to the living room to mark he smiled back brightly and hugged me tight picking me up and spinning me "I missed you so much!" he said kissing my cheek "So whats with the dress." he said laughing putting me down from the spin.

"I just got it from my sister she wants me to go to her wedding back in georgia! and gave me two plane tickets! so that means you can go too! Mark you'll get to meet my family!" When I said that marks expresson changed and he slowly sat down on the couch "Babe You okay? you look sick.." I asked.

"Hum? yeah Lace I'm fine..." he sighed "So when are we leaving?" he said snapping back pretty quckly.

"Uh this weekend? if thats alright" I bit my bottom lip and looked at mark hopfully

"Sounds great babe, count me in!" he stood back up and hugged me "I'm excited to meet your family Lace this is gonna be fun." He pulled away from the hug giving me a kiss on the cheek "I gotta make a quick trip to wade and molly's place I promiced I'd stop by when I got back so I'm gonna head there." I nodded getting a sinking feeling in my stomach.

"Okay babe you be careful okay?" he nodded grabbing he wallet, phone and keys and headed out the door.

Mark's POV

when Lacy told me we were gonna meet her family my stomach did a flip. I started thinking "What if they don't like me, what if they think what I do is not good enough?" I shook away the what ifs as I walked into wades place. " Hey Mark" Molly said sitting on the couch I nodded "Wades recording he should be out soon"

"Okay, thanks Molly" I went into the kitchen grabbing a bottle of water then going back in the to living room and taking a seat in a lounge chair.

"you okay there Mark?" Molly put her laptop to the side and looked at me.

"yeah Its just Lacy got tickets to go back home for her sisters wedding and she wants to take me.." I said taking and big drink from my water bottle.

"Mark that doesn't sound all that bad! it sounds like it could be fun you'll probably get to meet her-" Molly paused and I nodded

"Yeah she wants me to me her parents.." Another big sip of water. She nodded and patted my knee offering a reassuring smile.

When wade was done Recording I explained the whole situation to him

"well Mark the way I see it, this will be a good thing I mean I'm sure her parents won't hate you! You're a great guy! It not going the hurt..." he said nodding kindly and smiled. I return the smile only worry some.

The plane ride there was great, peaceful, no screaming babies, Lacy slept though most of the flight. I looked down at her and smiled, she so so beautiful and I could believe how lucky I was. The thought made my nerves settle a little bit and I finally got some sleep as well.

We landed in Georgia with a few hours to spare and Lacy insisted in taking me around town and showing me her favorite spots.

"This is Marietta square, it's nice to come here and hang out with friends, family, lovers" she giggled making me chuckle.

"Lacy, how are your parents?" I asked sheepishly. She paused and looked at me.

"Well I mean they're fine.... perfectly healthy" I laughed and shook my head slowly.

"No I mean like, do you think they'll like me?" She tilled her head and looked at me caringly placing her hands on my cheeks.

"Mark, they'll adore you I promise my parents are really sweet people" I smiled looked down at her resuring eyes.

"Okay...."
