A gentle streak of light shone through the velvet drapes across from me. I woke up as it directly shimmered into my eyes. I turned my head slightly. I yawned slowly and stretched my arms out towards the ceiling. I let them carelessly fall outwards.

I sigh contently, satisfied with how comfortable my bed felt. But then I realized this wasn't my bed. I sat up drowsily, now taking in the giant room.

It was beautiful. The walls were lined perfectly with yellow wallpaper; it donned green and blue floral designs. The trim that met the wallpaper halfway was dark stained oak wood with chiseled square panels. Light green, velvet drapes hung from bronze beams. Gold streaks dangled in the cream-colored canopy hanging overhead.

It felt like a fever dream. It was a bit dark, but I could still descry my surroundings.

Where the hell am I?

I completely perch up now, retaining all the events before my awakening in this mysterious bedroom.

Was everyone in L'manburg okay? What happened to them? Are they the ones who took me?

I glance around the room; this was a wealthy person's room. Not a soul in L'manburg had anything near to this fortune. If it wasn't them, who would've taken me? It had to have been somebody else in Dream SMP, somebody else who was there

I slip my legs over the side of the bed. As I stand, my knees instantly give out. I fall face-first, making a loud noise. I groan as I push myself back up; pain courses through my body. I sit up and lean against the wall, still taking in the scene.

I hear footsteps rushing towards the door. Before I can think to hide, the door is kicked open, and out comes a man wielding his sword. I look at him mortified, huddled into my knees.

"Oh, thank god." He sighs. His body relaxes, he slides his blade back into his sheath. He starts to make his way over to me, grinning. "I thought you were trying to leave."

I take this as a threat, sliding myself into the corner. I reach into the umbrella stand on my right and wield it as my own weapon. He grabs it from the tip and yanks it from my hand. As he throws it onto the bed, he crouches to my level.

"I'm Sapnap." He tilts his head smiling. He holds out his hand, waiting for me to take it in return. Being polite, I cautiously reach my hand back out to his.

I haven't met him, nor have I seen him. But, I have heard of him. Tommy told me that he was one of Dream's friends, and he was notorious for killing innocent pets.

My brows were knitted as he gently shook my hand. Before I could break the contact, his grip tightens, and I'm pulled onto my feet. I yelp, again my knees give out. I fall into his chest, now being completely embarrassed. He pushes me off, holding me by my shoulders.

An uncomfortable flush crept upon my face. He laughs in response to me being tense.

"Well, I'm sure you have lots of questions, so how about you get changed before we answer them." He sets me on the bed and walks out, returning a moment later with a change of clothes. He motions for me to take them.

"How long have I been here?" I perk up.

"Uhm, around a week, six or seven days." He nods once, giving me my answer, and walks out, closing the door behind him.
