『1』Runaway Rascals pt.1

"Michiru, are you sure this is a good idea?"

"Calm down! It'll only take a few minutes," Michiru replied. "Besides, we need money to get into the city, right?"

"Yeah, but... I don't know. Something doesn't feel right," You whispered. And you were right. Not long after, you sensed footsteps and chatter of a few people. You tugged on Michiru's sleeve and pointed to the vent. It looked like it would only fit one person, so you decided subtly shove Michiru in the vent, and you took a deep breath. 

You had two options. You could shift to your human form and pretend you were using the ATM, or, you could use your illusion power that came with being a Light Kitsune and mess around with the people's vision to make yourself invisible. You figured it was better to not let yourself be seen, so you went for the latter. Plus, it was simply easier to be in your beastman form.

You heard the footsteps draw nearer and nearer. Up close, you could see the group had spray paint cans, and a few anti-beastman posters and merchandise. It made you a little upset that people hated your kind, and for what reason? No reason, that's what.

It kinda looked like they were vandalizing the poster next to the ATM however, you couldn't see it since you were trying not to make any sound from where you were. The sound of spray paint, well, spraying, cut you off from your thoughts. The sound of toxic laughter made you feel a little uneasy. The group of people were still laughing as they walked past you, further and further away. You waited until you felt it was safe to come out of hiding.

You pulled off the vent cover, allowing Michiru to not-so-gracefully tumble out.

"Ow!" Michiru yelped, landing on her butt. You let out a small, but noticeable giggle. Michiru stared at you in awe. It wasn't often she heard you laugh, but when you did, it was like music to her floofy ears. She couldn't help but quietly laugh with you. When the laughter died down, you held out your hand for her to take.

"Need some help?"
