14. Weak & Lust

Ginna POV

I then put on my seat belt and drive off the mall parking lot. I soon notice the other Maserati following not too far behind, I start to think I'm just paranoid. I then decide to take a quick left to see if they'll still follow. When they quickly make the same turn, I look to Ernesto who's already aware.

"It's Zero, you gotta lose him." He says and I switch gears to my 'Fast & Furious' side and speed up to try and lose him. "Take this left, and go into that parking garage."

I drift the car into the garage right in between two on coming car, the car behind me stops short and honks their horn. Ernesto looks at me with a smile after I park the car at the top of the parking garage. "Nice work, Chula."

"Thank you." I smile at my nice driving skills. He then quickly gets out the car and reaches under his seat and pulls out a gun.

He then point to under my seat. "Take the glock that's under your seat, he's not too far behind."

"Okay." I say as I reach under my car and grab the loading hand gun. Ernesto has given me taken shooting lessons a couple of times so I know how everything works now, he even says I have a good shot.

Just as I take the gun from the bottom of the seat, I hear tires screech as I look up to see about four cars including the Maserati, I quickly raise my gun at the stands Ernesto taught me. The car door to the Maserati opens and Zero steps out. "I've been looking for you, Esto."

I look to Ernesto who already has his gun raised at Zero, I can tell he's trying to think of a way to take out all guys but there's to many.

Zero chuckles as he looks from him to me. "Bonnie and Clyde, too bad there ain't to say out of here alive."

"What makes you think I can't take all of you out?" Ernesto say as he cocks his gun.

Zero smiles. "Gringo, if you think you could've you would've already but your hesitating. Why?"

"I could shoot you in your head right now and get all this shit over with already." Ernesto spits.

Zero pettily smiles. "You could, but if you that these men here." He points to all the men who have their guns raised to us. "Have one order and that's not to kill you, but to kill her."

As on cue, all the men turn their head of their guns on me and my heart drops.. I don't wanna die. But, I stay in character and wait for Ernestos move as I play unfazed but by the kill order.

"FUCK!" Ernesto quickly lowers his gun as he smacks his lips. "Leave her out of this, this is between me and you."

"Nahh, you made the mistake of falling for a pocha and now I can use her as leverage because she is a weak spot for you." He chuckles as he looks at Ernesto like he's stupid. "You of all people should know it's stupid to fall for anyone because it makes you weak, not to mention everyone you love gets killed."

Ernesto says nothing as he stares in hatred at Zero, he isn't even denying what Zero said. Which can't be true:

Ernesto being in love with me.

Look, let's make this easy. I ain't come here to kill you, just to pick you up and will.. her." He now looks at me.

Ernesto remains speechless, I decide to speak up for him. "What make you think we're going anywhere with you?"

He chuckles at my little voice. "Baby, you have no other choice."

"Yes we d-" I start but I'm cut off my Ernesto, who finally breaks his speechlessness.

"We'll go." He says as he puts his gun on the floor.

I look at him confused. "What? No."

"Get in the fucking car, Ginna." He spits as he walks to get in the back seat of Zeros car. I put down my gun and follow behind him.

"Good choice." Zero says as he gets back in his car and speeds off.

I find myself tied up by my arms, handing from a high bar next to Ernesto in a run down basement of unknown building.

As soon as we got into the car Zero tied both our hands as he put bandanas over eyes, so we couldn't see where he was taking us.

I've been kidnapped too many times for one life time, it's getting old now.

I look around the basement to see only a big empty room with no windows, only a steel door and no way out. "How do we get out of here?"

"We don't." He speaks dryly.

I try to look at him but I can't because my arm is in the way. "You good?"

"No, I'm not good. I've been fucking kidnapped and it's because I was weak and got caught off guard." He spits.

It's silent for a few seconds as I try to process everything in my mind. "And that's because of me?"

"No.. ITS BECAUSE I FUCKING LOVE YOU!" He yells and I'm lost of words. I can't help the warm feeling that grows in the pit of my stomach, a feeling I never felt before.

"I love you too."
