I take flight with the rest of my friends.
Close friends, neighbours, family
All travelling together
To somewhere unknown.
It has been hours.
We spot something interesting down below.
They must be giants, or gods, or monuments.
They're sitting around something
That looks like water except it's solid.
We go down to look for a place to stay
But I want to examine the creatures.
"It's dangerous!" My friend cries.
I don't listen.
I come close to one
With fur that is brown and fuzzy.
Like the others, it seems to have shed its coat
From everywhere except its head.
I come closer.
I come too close.
The monolith raises one of its enormous limbs
And it comes crashing down.
I am not fast enough.
I shoot down to that clear surface.
My friends have not realised what has happened.
My vision is fading. I hear the beast speak.
"Smack cam."
