What really happened:
Kat and a friend of hers went to a social media event. At the event, they met Sam and Colby. Sam was super tired as he had been on tour for a while and because of this, he came off as rude. Colby however wasn't so tired and became friends with kat. A couple of weeks later Colby and Kat made plans to meet up and go out clubbing. When Kat got to The Traphouse something went wrong with Colby's car and they ended up just chilling at the house. Sam, as he wasn't tired anymore, hit it off with Kat and asked her on a date. The rest is history. ;)
My Spinoff:
Kat and Stasia go to a party and meet Sam and Colby. It's the same concept as what really happened except the roles are reversed. Sam is nice to Kat while Colby seems cold and distant. My thought behind this was, "This could have easily been the way it had gone, what would have happened if the roles were switched?" and from that thought, this fanfic was born.
