Chapter 4: the diagon alley trip

3 weeks have passed and nothing weird happened which made Kenzie suspicious about the upcoming days, she wasn't wondering much about the approaching future or what's going to happen to her next, she was still trying to sum up the actions and figure out who was the "poor member" that lady was talking about when she visited mysteriously.

She started to think it was her uncle but her father told her he died of a heart attack so it couldn't possibly be him. Could it?..
She doesn't know if she can trust her father anymore so she wanted to figure it out on her own.

It's only 1 week until her trip to Diagon Alley to buy her school supplies. As she mentioned before she couldn't wait to discover what her wand would look like. She has seen extraordinary looking wands, her mother's is her favorite she couldn't resist but play with it all day when she was younger, she still does that but no one knows she does.

Kenzie woke up then made a quick delicious sandwich she really enjoys eating while she ran back to her room to prepare her bags for the trip. She had to organize everything properly because she is confident she will be too excited to prepare anything so she does it early instead.

Everyone was still sleeping, the house was so quiet and calm. She decided she wanted to spend an hour or so reading her favorite book at the garden outside the big castle. Kenzie is known for being a bookworm, she has so many books and read so many novels which identifies her clever and bright mind at such a young age.

She grabbed her favorite book and went to the colorful garden outside her house and sat down a big tree. She started reading while the wind flew the opposite direction. It was 8:00 in the morning and the birds were singing and flying around her, and bunnies kept jumping and sleeping on her dress. It felt like a fantasyland.

Adélaïde woke up suddenly and looked out of her bedroom window to find her beautiful daughter reading a book like a lovely young lady. She went downstairs and grabbed a book from her big library, wore a beautiful dress matching her daughter's, and she ran out and sat down next to Kenzie.

"Hi, mother! I thought you were asleep."

"Yes I was, but I woke up unexpectedly et j'ai pensé de te promène!" (J'ai pensé de te promène: i thought I would sit with you)

"Ah, d'accord. What book did you bring?" (D'accord: okay/ yes)

"Oh I brought this novel, c'est "Zeida de nulle part" (c'est: it's) I really love that book."

"Oh yes, I have heard of it, is it good?"

"Yes, it's amazing."

Kenzie and her mother kept reading till 9:30. Marclins woke up and made himself breakfast for the first time, he didn't want to ruin the mother and daughter moment.

Kenzie saw Marclins struggling with making himself a simple sandwich, so she got up and told her mother to excuse her while she goes to help her father.

She helped him make a sandwich and he really enjoyed it. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and went to her room to change her clothes and started to do her homework. Her mother is her teacher since she doesn't want Kenzie to leave the house for 7 hours or so. She is overprotective and doesn't like feeling away from her daughter, she likes when she's in front of her eyes and in her guard.

Mackenzie spent the night with her family and nearly forgot about the puzzle she had to put together to reach what she needed to Figure out.

It was a long day, Kenzie kept watching tv and reading all-day, she slept on the couch while watching her favorite show. Marclins held his little daughter in his hands and went to her room to lay her on her bed.
He gave her a kiss on the cheek and gave her Monsieur Citrouille and headed out of the room.

It's the day before the Diagon Alley trip! Kenzie is finally going to Hogwarts in a couple of weeks!

Kenzie has already prepared everything she needs, she even prepared the outfit she's going with. She was wearing a long white dress with blue butterflies all over it with black boots and a flower-decorated head band.

"Kenzie, are you ready yet? We're going to be late come on hurry up!" Yelled Marclins.

"Yes dad, I am all set. What about you and mum?"

"We are ready. I will wait for you both in the car okay?"

"Okay."

Kenzie and her family started moving on the road to Diagon Alley. Kenzie was so exited she kept smiling and singing the whole ride. It took about 3 hours to get there which was a long time for the little girl, She even slept for an hour.

When she woke up there was still an hour left till they arrive, she started admiring the view and the shiny bright sun along with the flowers below it bursting with colorful vibes and the breathtaking scent of every kind of them. It was truly beautiful.

An hour later they arrive at Diagon Alley, Kenzie never felt happier. She was so amazed by the wizards and witches flying around on their broomstick and others with their wands flashing lights of the tip of it.

"Oh my goodness...Merlin this is truly...magical..." said Kenzie with her eyes shinning of amusement.

"Come on now let's go, where do you want to head first?" spoke Marclins.

"WANDS!"

"Of course. Well, maybe uniforms?"

"I SAID WANDS!"

"Okay okay, chill out."

Marclins and his daughter were wondering threw the streets of Diagon alley looking for a wands shop near by. The last time Marclins was there was around 20 years ago, he could barely remember anything.

Kenzie was fascinated by how marvelous the shops looked, the little wizards and witches were so sweet and kind looking and seemed to have so much fun with everyone else.

Kenzie suddenly peeped long dirty blond hair that looked familiar, she was confused at first but then she realized...

'It's him.'

Anyways so from now on, since it's harder to scroll all the way down for translation, I decided I will put the translation of the French words beside the phrase itself which is more easier of course.
