"When you lay by my side
I see the whole world through your eyes
Ride or Die
You and I
Live or Die!"
_____
In which a group of teenagers with different problems try to survive high school.
[On Hold]
So this is the first chapter, I hope you enjoy it. I want this book to have humor and sarcasm, but I'll be addressing some triggering stuff like addiction, struggle of sexuality and abuse. This book is more on the mature side and it will discuss topics like sex, drugs, alcohol and stuff like that. So be warned! ———————
"And then I saw her face
Now I'm a believer
Not a trace
Of doubt in my mind
I'm in love
I'm a believer
I couldn't leave her
If I tried" ___ ~ I'm A Believer by Smash Mouth

Sophie woke up by her alarm going off, making her almost fall out off her bed in shock. She stared at the device wide eyed, before turning it off.
In her defense, it was the first day of school after summer break. So... you get it.
Sophie finally stood up and went towards her bathroom, rubbing her eyes.
That wasn't a good idea.
"Oh fuck!" She yelled out and crouched down to make sure her little toe was still attached to her body, after violently slamming it against her desk. And lucky for her it was still there, a bit red, but still functioning.
After a few moments of checking that her toe really did work like usual, she continued her way towards the bathroom. "Glad I didn't pee my pants." She whispered to herself, while closing the door.
Half an hour later, Sophie was trying to curl her hair, while eating her slice of toast. She already had to change her shirt once, because she accidentally dropped her toast and got peanut butter all over it.
Suddenly her phone began to ring. It was the familiar tune of 'Summer of 69' by Bryan Adams, her and Richard's favorite song.
Speaking of Richard, that's her boyfriend. They met back in sophomore year and have been dating since then. Richard is a football player which means he is popular, which also meant that Sophie got more popular. And since she decided to join the cheerleading team it just goes hand in hand.
Sophie didn't even realize that she started to daydream until a honk outside snapped her out of it.
She quickly picked up her phone and went to look out her window. "Morning, are you here already?" She asked confused as she watched her boyfriend get out of his fancy car that he got for his sixteenth birthday, two years ago. "Morning babe. What do you mean already? School starts in fifteen minutes." He told her while waving up at her.
