It was Jacob.
And he was standing awkwardly on her doorstep. "Oh, hey Jacob. We weren't expecting you." She told him smiling. Sophie was trying really hard to act normal, so he wouldn't notice that they were tipsy.
"Yeah, I um, I noticed." Her smiled gesturing to the wallet she had in hand. And with that she noticed her outfit and quickly tried to hide behind the door as much as she could, turning red.
"So, um. What are you doing here?" She asked, him.
"Oh, I just wanted to check on you since your mom wasn't home. And I thought we could like hang out, maybe next time when our moms are out? You know, since we're both alone?" He asked, mentally face palming at how he formulated his sentences.
Sophie was surprised by his question.
"Oh. Sure! Yes, totally!" She said louder then she meant to, making him smile at her and Sofia who was hiding behind the door giggle.
"Maybe when I'm not drunk and acting like a total idiot." She smiled apologetic at him.
Jacob chuckled and put his hands inside is jacket, looking down at her with a warm smile. "Sure. Maybe I could call you or something?" He asked her, getting out his phone. "Yes, I'll give you my number." She grabbed his phone and put her number in.
"Here you go." She smiled and gave him his phone back. Their hands touched in the process, making the boy blush.
"All right, I'll call you then." He told her, walking backwards. "Yes, you do that." She smiled, before closing the door behind her.
She was met with two smiling faces.
"Oh, he so has a crush on you!" Sofia yelled giggling, while Sophia was nodding her head with wide eyes. "No he doesn't, don't be silly." She told them with an eye roll.
Not even two minutes later came their pizza. But instead of watching the movie, Sofia was dead set on talking about boys.
"Yes, I'm telling you! He totally has a crush on you!" She was still going on about how Jacob had a crush on Sophie.
