~Brooklyn’s P.O.V~

The next month flew by quickly, yet again, giving me whiplash. Let’s re-cap everything that has happened so far. It has been 2 months since I left California to live in London. While at one of the boys surprise concerts, fans harassed me, but Niall came to my rescue. After about 3 weeks, Dad took me back to Cali for a week with the boys and from there, I got my braces and everyone discovered my talent for singing. Dad offered for me to sing at the boys’ concerts while on tour for the next 8 months, and of course, I agreed. After the first concert, all signs of being nervous had vanished off the surface of the earth. The next day, the creepy interviewer managed to somehow give me his number, probably due to the fact that I wasn’t listening to what he was saying to me. Niall then decided it would be good to suddenly stand up in the bus and scream that he was hungry, scaring poor little Liam half to death, and being the meanies they are, I had to take him to Nando’s, not that I was complaining. Also, the stupid waitress gave me a coke and spilt it all over my favourite white shirt, resulting in me mumbling cuss words about her all night, much to Niall’s amusement. So the past 2 months has been quiet amusing, but I wouldn’t exchange it for anything, even to be back in California.

“You know what I just realised?” I yelled, startling the boys accidentally. I had 5 heads turn in my direction, a little annoyed that I yelled and stopped them from their activities.

“What Brookie?” Louis sighed, running his hands through his hair. They had been quiet busy lately, because even though they are on tour, Simon is pushing them to their limits and is demanding some new songs.

“I haven’t heard from my mum since I left” He shook his head as they all groaned and dropped their heads again, busying themselves in stacks of paper. We had currently stopped off at some small town for the night, so I decided to head out and grab the boys a treat. [I’m not going to be mentioning the places they stop/perform at because I have no idea about foreign places]

“I’ll be back soon,” I mumbled, sighing, as I got not response. I slammed the door behind me, looking at my surroundings. I spotted a little coffee shop in the distance, so I started my trek and headed across the road.

“Hello ma’am, how can I help you this afternoon?” The older lady asked, smiling nicely at me as I studied the board.

“Hm, one moment, I have to buy for 5 moody boys” She laughed slightly, nodding her head and wiped up the counter. I rattled off the orders, buying some donuts and a hot chocolate for myself.

“That comes to $21.50” I dug through my purse, pulling out my card, quickly swiping it and grabbing the bag of donuts, attempting to juggle the tray as well.

As I got back to the bus, I carefully placed the tray on the curb, yanking the door open, using my foot to hold it open while I leant down and collected the drinks. It sounded easy, but it was the most difficult thing in the world. Having your leg almost at the same level as your hip, while you had to pick up a cardboard tray with 6 steaming drinks.

“Here you go boys” I grinned, placing everything down on the small table, laughing as they started yelling thankyou’s and how much they loved me as they dove into the treat.

"OMG Brookie, this is amazing!" Louis squealed, going back to his old out-there self.  I laughed, shaking my head and grabbed my hot chocolate, taking a seat on the tiny empty space on the couch. Niall's papers were spread out, covering the rest of the area. As I sipped on my drink, I picked up a slightly crumbled piece, skimming over the words.

Am I sleep am I awake or somewhere in between

I can’t believe that you are here and lying next to me
