Preface!!

Hello! Thank you for taking interest in my story. It's been a couple of years since i've written anything this big so I may be a little rusty but i'll warm up. 

Im gonna start this with answering a few questions you, the reader may have.

Why an OC x?

I'm gonna be blatantly honest with this one. I don't read "OC x" type fics. Mostly because the character is not someone I can relate to in a certain way. Many writers give their OC's defining features or fashion styles I would never wear. Which is not inherently bad obviously its their character they can do as they please. I especially am not a fan of the "pushover" OC (or even y/n). Thats why I wanted to write my own, something I, along with a lot of other readers can relate to. Maybe not all my readers but some. I do base this "OC" off of some of my experiences as all authors do but I will try and make my story and character believable.

Why a plus-size OC and why a "warning" for it in the description?

As a plus sized woman I rarely find any romantic stories that aren't focused on the fact that the main girl is fat (maybe she loses weight and is loved) and therefore "ugly" to the main love interest. Maybe i'm not digging far enough to find them. I don't know, at least on wattpad its hard to find representation for someone like me. That is NOT to say the main character in this story Hatori will be impenetrable to insecurities.

The reason I "warn" or just acknowledge readers in the description that our main character is plus size is 1) It lets my readers know what their OC will look like and if that is something they want to read and 2) i'll be getting into some insecurities that may be triggering. Nothing diving too deep, or anything unhealthy like that. Just normal insecurities one has. Things maybe some non plus size people could relate to.
