Legacy

Chapter 3

Sunday. Gab's parents invited all their relatives for a farewell party at their house. Everyone was there including Gab's uncles and aunts who, as expected, asked him about his future plans. As always he answered them by saying he wanted to become a lawyer or a doctor or maybe an engineer. But the truth was he had not yet decided.

Gab was eating when his cousins came and sat beside him.

"Well... It seems like this will be the last time, I will see you in years." said Lloyd, Gab's eldest cousin.

"We"ll miss you little cousin." said Gus, Gab's second to the oldest cousin.

"I hate it when they call me little" thought Gab "why did I have to be the youngest?"

"But wait... It is a family tradition that you leave a legacy at school." said Francis, his cousin younger than Lloyd and Gus but older than Gab.

"Yeah what was your legacy?"

Legacy was what they call the pranks they made at highschool. These pranks were legendary and many in the school still talk about it until today. Lloyd was the one who started it then Gus then Francis. Gab's three cousins were never caught. It was since then that it became a family tradition. And so when Gab entered highschool, his three cousins expected him to follow their footsteps but until today Gab never did a legacy. The truth was he was afraid to get in trouble. Then a thought crossed Gab's mind.

"Honestly, I'm just gonna do it before we leave." said Gab.

"Well... You got to think fast cause you only have less than two weeks." replied Lloyd.

"Yeah"

Gab is leaving in two weeks. He wants to gain revenge to those who made him feel bad. And he felt more braver now cause he is leaving and no one can hurt him once he gets onboard that plane.

He also knows that he will never get caught because he knows that he is smarter than his cousins.

"What you gonna do?" asked Gus.

"I don't know" Gab answered.

And this led to a conversation about his cousins legacies. Lloyd told him to do what he did to his geometry teacher. What he did was he spraypainted the words "fuck you" to the teachers car.

Gus called it lame and suggested a legacy that he did to his chemistry teacher. What he did was he made a fake letter saying that she was invited at some kind of chemistry conference and gave her a fake adress. Gus sent it to the teachers house with a fake name and all. When the teacher went to the adress she found a nightclub instead.

Francis called both of it lame and suggested a legacy that he did to a bully. What he did was he spread a rumor that the bully was gay and spread edited photos of the bully wearing women's clothes.

But Gab won't do any of the things they suggested. He wanted something original. He wanted something epic.
