Chapter 2

"You ok?" Will asked, cutting Nico off from his thoughts.

He'd realised he'd not talked for a long time and that they'd reached the edge of the forest.

"Yh, I'm fine" Nico replied, a little too quickly.

Will of course knew something was off, yet he left it at that.

He knew an argument would just set off Nico.

And right now, the thing he did not want was Nico to be angry.

Will led Nico through the woods and to Zeus' fist or just a pile of rocks to normal people which the people at Camp Half-Blood were most certainly not. Will wanted to come here because it was one of the things closest to Hera he could get. Surely Hera's presence was also near to where her husband's is. He hoped that this may help out the situation. He was also hoping that a few other gods might help out; the Erotes.

They sat for a while and said nothing. Admiring the forest and how much it had changed since the Battle of the Labyrinth which had hopefully closed forever. Will knew he had little time to ask Nico what he wanted to know as Dionysus would want him back to work soon.

"Why?" Nico asked

"Why what?" Will asked, a puzzled look on his face.

"Why did you invite me out here?"

Will had to think for a minute to give Nico a reasonable answer, he didn't want to give anything away.
"Because I had said to you to get plenty of fresh air and I thought you wouldn't have listened to me."
Yh, that sounded reasonable enough.

"Well I have. You keep talking about 'doctor's orders' and stuff"

Will liked how relaxed Nico was beginning to sound. He had planned to ask soon enough but right now wasn't the time.

"So what help have you been doing around the camp?" Will asked, knowing that he had to make the whole thing sound a lot more casual. Well, as casual as you could get when you're in a forest surrounded by monsters that could attack at any time.

"Well I haven't done too much but," Nico gave a cute smile "Percy has been a bit peeved with me."

"Still?"

"No, not about what happened before. I'd been asked to take sugar to the Pegasi but I'd made a mistake and took salt instead... so now Percy has all of them complaining to him" he chuckled.

Gods Will loved the way he laughed. He didn't smile or laugh often; before. But now he smiled more and that made Will happier.

Will gave a soft laugh. Then went quite serious.

"Nico?"

"Yh?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yh sure"

Will paused for a minute. Then began to ask

"Well, we've been hanging out for a while now and-"

And that's when everything had to go wrong.

Thanks :) Also,what do you guys think of the art I use for the chapters? I'm open to using anything anyone else has made if the maker is okay with it.
